The outside looks a little tired, worn and scruffy, but for the price, expected. On New Years Eve, fireworks were sooooo loud… but no fault of the hotel. I was just going to the Rose Parade at 4am and didn’t get a wink of sleep. Otherwise, it was quiet my week there.

A great value and location for me to volunteer on Rose Parade floats in a decorating warehouse ten minutes away. I took the train to the Parade, from a stop about ten minutes away. It was about 30 minutes from the Ontario Airport. While the outside is worn and scruffy, the room was updated, clean, safe and quiet. There was no coffee maker, but I’d brought my own. Aldi is next door for groceries.

The smell in the room was not great, most likely coming from the batbroom that did not smell nice at all.

The only problem I had was the AC took a long time to cool the room down, it was in the 100 degrees that day.

The staff at the hotel were really friendly and let me change rooms with no problem.

THE INTERNET! I had three different devices 1) Apple iPad 2) Windows laptop 3) Samsung (android) phone. The devices connected intermittently, sometimes not at all. When it did connect it would lose connection while watching a movie. I would not recommend this hotel for digital nomads or anyone needing good internet service.

Having to kill the little flying bugs inside the room.

I do have to say that everything was fine… until we entered the room and all the unkept landscaping outside created little flying bugs inside the room.

There was not a coffee pot in the room or lobby. The pillows were absolute garbage and the towels were awful. We had been gone all day and we didn't get fresh towels so I went to ask for some and the clerk jumped all over me and told me to come back in the morning. I insisted over and over and finally got them but I shouldn't have had to go through that to get them.

The room was very clean and the beds were firm but comfortable. The shower was awesome.

It was not very comfortable and the lady asked for a deposit and when i checked out the owner which was a male looked at me puzzled when i asked for my deposit back he said we dont ask for deposit. I said well the lady asked for a deposit lastnite. And i want it back. That was crazy.

The shower head screeched when the water was on. Some of the other guests were loud and inconsiderate.

The room was very clean and the design of the room is very sleek and modern. The AC was really nice and the WiFi was great. The staff was helpful.

Bedding and towels are thin. Wish they were thicker. AC didn’t have a fan only option for nights when it’s running cold.

Some noise from busy street (Francisquito). Minor things like it didn’t have hangers, Kleenex, or coffee maker (although staff was very nice and I’m sure they would have provided these things if we had asked).

It was very clean and well maintained. East access to freeway.
