The overhead bathroom light was like a strobe... Very blinky, The other bath light was way too bright. The tub faucet dripped all the time. The luggage rack was broken. The room was too tight! Hard to move around between the queen bed and bureau. The cabinet door to the refrigerator did not open fully due to the bed being in the way. There were no directions on how to use the cable box, TV or remote and what channels were available. The breakfast was just alright. Powdered eggs, overcooked sausage patties, rubbery self made pancakes. ⁴

The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. No bugs. Some breakfast choices were good ..fresh fruit, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt.

Bring good ear plugs. I did. The hotel is located right next to the Interstate and it is loud. With ear plugs and the thick pillows I ended up sleeping just fine.

Close to the interstate, sound insulation might be improved. Air conditioning is efficient but noisy when you are not familiar with it and keeping the window open to let some fresh air in is impossible due to highway proximity. Still... Not a big deal after a 24 hours travel ;)

The staff is really nice, the room was clean and the breakfast was amazing. A good start for our 1st trip to the US :)

The room was quite cramped. Had to wrangle with the bed to get the door to the Coffee maker open. Keurig coffee maker was nice but had been put away damp so it had a white powdery film on the water canister. Had to be thoroughly cleaned and several cups of water poured through.

Breakfast was very good. It was a bit tricky finding the way in (just off the highway, but you have to get in by the back entrance). Nice shampoo!

The I 95 noise was too much for comfort. There was a lot of noise coming from the highway which did not allow for a proper night sleep. Everything else was comfortable.

Hotel was near heavy traffic area and i had a hard time falling asleep because of the noise. Room was small. You could hear the upstairs rooms toilet flushing and people walking around. It was ok for one night but i wouldnt have stayed for more than that.

No senior citizen discount given, no added points as I booked through a third party, bookings.com not directly calling or booking through Best Western which I thought I did, TripAdvisor was $72 but Best Western wanted me to supply the app where I got it. Anyone can google it which is how I knew it. It’s a circuitous way of booking My husband ( disabled) and I have stayed there in past as it was close to relatives in Fairfield and Bridgeport. Signage is poor and confusing especially for elderly out of towers like me visiting elderly relatives in Bridgeport. Taking wrong exit despite my ways I ended up in downtown Bridgeport. I ended up taking a 45 minute ride home on less than 5 miles ride to Best Western. If a senior does not ask for discount, my senior moment, none is given. I wish this could be rectified or I could be given credit. When I called I was told the cost was $127 plus tax and this included my senior discount.. I paid $160.99, no senior discount. And I also have AARP. If one is paying $139.99 for room charge revenue, what is $12.11 occupancy tax plus $8.89 sales tax, which I accept given to the government. Why occupancy tax? One obviously will occupy room, but why the add on? It to give you sad story but my husband settled hotel bills is past. He was a Parkinson’s Disease patient. Now that it’s just me with a fixed income, I have to be aware of the expenses I incur Thank you for asking my opinion. You could always delete and not give me my senior discount. Thank you
