Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Lack of parking, also we had to move a table in the room to be able to close the bathroom door. That was interesting. Idk why they would have the bathroom door propped open and a table pushed in front of it. Very weird.

It looks a little bit in need of renovation. The pattern of the carpets with all those waves made me think of sea- sickness.

Bed/mattress was a little springy

I did not like the fact that there was no refund on a cancellation. We had booked my daughter a room as well, and she was sick, unable to join us.

Are we in a towel shortage? If the room reservation is for 4 then put 4 towels in the room. That's my only real complaint. Parking was a bit crowded and don't bother if you have a trailer. Overall a great room for the price.
Breakfast was sufficient. Location is good.

The girl who was at front desk in the morning. We asked for a late checkout and she said no.

The facility was a little dated, but was clean and quite. The location was easy to get on and off the freeway and convenient with a grocery store and shopping across the street. The grounds were landscaped nicely and the continental breakfast was nice.
The woman who checked us in and out was extremely friendly and was knowledgeable about the area and best route to our next location

Air conditioning didn’t work for three out of our four nights. No room cleaning unless requested.
Comfortable, convenient location, just minutes from the freeway. Engineer who came to fix the air conditioner was very nice and skilled. Good breakfast.

This hotel was in a good location for visiting old downtown Grassvalley. The hotel room and lobby were clean and well organized. Breakfast was better than expected.

Bathroom window needs a drape/curtain, was right up against the parking lot, not good. Paid for 2 queen beds, received 1 queen, 1 double bed. Outlet on desk light didn't work. (too loose, didn't stay plugged in).
Standard juice and pastries breakfast. Heater worked on a cold night. Friendly staff.

Ran out of towels and pool towels, housekeeping seemed short staffed, ice bucket contained rubbish and bathroom floor was dirty. We were awakened by a homeless woman shouting.
The nicest front desk lady ever!! Super convenient location to explore Grass Valley and Nevada City.

Room was supposed to be 175.00 after taxes. Noticed I was charged 250.00 for the room. No help resolving the issue.

The toilet in my room did not flush properly. The water never went out of the bowl, only spun around in circles. My room backed to the freeway which was noisy. The remote for TV did not have a GUIDE option. I had to turn the TV off and back on to get to the GUIDE on the TV. $350 for two nights.... hmmmm
Staff was friendly. Breakfast ladies worked hard.

clerk said we didn’t have reservations, had to , said our contract was with you and not them, we had to pay them AGAIN, said you hadn’t sent them $$. very very upsetting, fortunately we were able to have a credit card. didn’t get a queen suite as described in our reservation with you, instead a two bedroom unit. no table to sit around, no couch as described. ready to send a complaint to the BBB on both you and hotel. will need to follow up for a REFUND upset, 85 year old widow.
