Strict rules on towels and cleaning service should be daily and not only if you stay +4 days. I guess hotels need to go back to rules prior to covid

Although they have put extensive amounts of work in the facility, they still have more to do. Smell of hydraulic fluid near the elevator raises the largest concern for me.

The owners and management have put an extensive amount of work into this facility. They are doing an excellent job in the updating of this hotel. The location is great for someone who wants to be away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip but still be close enough to enjoy things offered in the area.

The 3rd night of staying there, it was a leak in the bathroom.

Everything was right there. Beautiful ocean views and the location was perfect.

A few room items needed attention. I.e. refrigerator not working properly, toilet paper holder rusted out, kicked in refrigerator door in bottom should be fixed!

Based on a 2 star rating I wasn't expecting too much; However, our room was above our expectation. It was clean, the bed comfy and location fantastic. We would stay again.

The towels were cheap, small, thin and with holes.

Great location. The pool area was nice and the parking was easy access in and out. I liked that the room had a fridge and safe.

Never anyone at desk, could never get a drink from the bar that is advertised. No housekeeping I had to call the Front Desk to get my trash taken out after I was there for three days.

Small things. Coffee in the lobby was not prepared or not fresh unless we asked. Room service system was not explained or we did not understand it. So we did not know that we needed to take the garbage bins out to be emptied, for example.

Location - Great! Value for money - excellent. Staff - very nice. Room - very good. Bar - not expensive. Pool - Cold :)

Being off season there wasn’t much in the way of things to do at the hotel. But, that’s not their fault. For an older facility it was clean and had a nice location

The towels were rather old and small

The hotel was very nice and in a great location. The rooms were clean and a good size. The Pool was clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay.

Was not as clean as it could’ve been. Hair was on the towels in the bathroom. The toilet paper holder had so much rust, definitely needs to be replaced.

Didn’t have a tub just a shower that was my fault for not looking at details better, but even with our toddler we managed. Was not aware of the $150.00 deposit upon check in. First we were told by the manager the machine would not accept our cash app card because it’s not a bank card but after asking her to try to run it through it accepted it. Not sure if she just didn’t want to take it or what was going on.

Directly across from the beach. Clean rooms. Bar in the lobby. 8 foot outdoor pool. Great staff from the owner to the housekeepers. Everyone was so welcoming and nice. Our front desk clerk Katie was awesome and made my kiddos stay more enjoyable. Would recommend the Malibu sunset if going to the bar and don’t forget to tip the bartender. 🙂

The walls are paper thin! No staff available at front desk after hours like most hotels. Therefore, this should be considered a motel rather than hotel. I had the worst neighbors ever, both nights they were loud, playing music after midnight and everything else you could think of. No fault of the Cabana it just made my stay not enjoyable especially when I wanted to rest at night.

It has the potential to be a nice peaceful motel. Plenty of parking and cozy rooms.
