Someone was knocking at my door at 0400, I did not answer and I could hear him/her continue to knock on other doors.

Wifi was not working at all. Staff weren’t at the reception you had bo be really lucky to find some help. Other than that was pretty nice.

The first time we stayed, the WiFi worked perfectly in the room. This last visit, it wasn't working in the room. I told the owner, he said to go outside and see if it works from the Gazebo. We did that but it still didn't work inside. It seems like it would be easy to get an extender so it would work in the rooms. I also asked for the freezer to get defrosted so you can fit more stuff in there.

I really love the mini kitchenette. It's so helpful when you have been on the road. The bed was really comfortable. I love the location. Wonderful bike trails by the river. It was our 2nd time staying here

No oven. Large step at door...watch your step coming out of #12. We had good parking but I did notice all the rooms on the side have slanted parking..no way to park a motorcycle. They do have flat parking at the road..you just wouldnt be able to keep and eye on your bike. Ask for a back room if you need somewhat decent parking. Dont bring a trailer..there is no room for that.

Small motel with friendly owners. They had a motorcycle wash area which was very much appreciated as we drove in from Texas. Comfortable bed! Area to grill as there was no oven in our room. Trolly stop within walking distance.

TV didn’t work properly and staff didn’t seem to care, very old and needs updating, fridge in room didn’t work properly either. The cleanliness could have been better. For the price we paid which was raised for the rally didn’t seem fair. Also, the hotel staff knew when we were going to be there and they could’ve turned the air on in the room as it was very warm when we arrived on a warm day.

For our length of stay - three nights - there may have been a better choice of room or property as it just started to feel a little too cramped. We feel like two nights here would be perfect. The lighting situation in our room was quirky to say the least, requiring us to realllllly stretch (at the least) to shut out the light to go to bed. We had a few bugs appear on the ceiling around the same time each night - not really anything scary to us, but others may feel differently.

The room was generally clean and comfortable. We really like the older, local motel feel and this fits the bill. The yard area in front of the gazebo was a nice place to eat breakfast in the morning. The trolley stop was also very convenient, and since it was free while we were there it was nice to ditch the car for a couple of days when we wanted to go downtown.

This is a classic motor hotel, nothing fancy or luxurious, but full of character and ideally located. We'd definitely choose to stay here again over any of the chain hotels in Durango. Bed comfy, nice kitchenette, bathroom fine, wifi good, parking right outside door to room.

Some early morning barking dogs but not the fault of the proprietors.

In a tourist town where the hampton inn was charging $289 it was a pleasant surprise. We have been visiting Durango for the past 30 years. And it is still lovely. But getting a little more pricey. Nice outdoor spaces and clean and for the most part quiet rooms. Just across from the animas and a 2 mile walk to downtown on the river walk.

This location is great and close to town center. The accomodations are nice and quaint with a cabin feeling although rooms are adjacent. Heating and cooling in good working order. Nice staff. I would stay again.
