Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Beautifully appointed room and outdoor spaces. On arrival, the room smelled lovely and had sweet details , the bed and bathroom were divine. Best customer care I have experienced in a hotel. Amazing location to explore Calistoga. Loved that the bikes were always available and in perfect condition. Incredible experience. Can't wait to come back.

United States of AmericaPerfect room with a little private balcony and a dutch door plus a fireplace with cozy chairs nearby, lots of espresso pods for our morning coffee and we loved the little cafe'. Lots of excellent choices for breakfast. We took the free bikes out for a ride around the neighborhood and to downtown and had a blast! They hooked us up for day passes to a local spa that was beyond beautiful with so many amenities, we spent the day relaxing there and hopping from sauna to steam room to all the different soaking pools! Loved the grounds and our stay, everyone was friendly and helpful. Great weekend!

United States of AmericaAdorable Inn. Rooms are extremely well appointed with thoughtful items. Loved the complimentary Gummy Bears & M&M’s and water, espresso maker and even a flat iron?! Who has that? Communication was exceptional and having the Sam’s General Store Coffee shop steps away was a perfect morning stop. We will be back for sure!!!

CanadaThere was nothing that I didn’t like. Calistoga is a treat.
Lovely accommodations on the edge of Calistoga in the northern part of Napa Valley wine country. Great value for money compared to towns located further south in the valley. Will definitely make a return visit.

United States of AmericaThe only minor issue we encountered was the proximity of our room to the cafe, resulting in some traffic noise. However, this was not overly disruptive and did not detract significantly from our overall enjoyment. Despite this small inconvenience, we fully intend to return in the future.
A stay at this cutie is a must for anyone looking to truly experience comfort and charm. The cleanliness and attention to detail are evident throughout, making for a delightful stay. The staff's friendliness only adds to the positive atmosphere.

United States of AmericaThe bed needs to be flipped or replaced. I kept sliding into a divot. But I did sleep well otherwise. It would put this place over the top if only they had a hot tub. But there are spas every three feet in this town, if you can afford them.
All the amenities! Heated bathroom floor and toilet seat (though no bidet.) lots of goodies either free or marked down, including wine ($), fridge, robes, bottled water, and some candy! Netflix and several streaming channels and a nice tv if you care. Tons of information about the area was provided as well. It would be perfect to house wedding guests. The location is about two blocks from the downtown, so super easy to go out without dealing with a car. There is a Grocery one block away, and a small place to get wine, cheese and meats. The location is one of the best in Calistoga. Very quiet, yet everything is so close! Onsite they have a little coffee shop, a bit like a Starbucks, so you can get sweet or savory breakfast (and if you book in their site, breakfast is included including hot bfast sandwiches. But it wasn’t pricey, so I didn’t care.) The property is very lovely, with many little seating areas including some with fire pits.

United States of AmericaHearing people walk by was a bit disconcerting, but not a problem at night.
The location was good for us, and easy to get around. Parking was sufficient. The cottage had great amenities, and having Sam's General Store so close was great.

United States of AmericaTheir service at the cafe - which is separate ownership - was disappointing. There are plenty of other cafe options nearby, including across the street where a cafe is served from an Air Stream. :)
The communication was amazing, especially Nicole, who reached out to me personally once the pre-visit exchange - which of itself was impressive - identified we were celebrating a birthday/anniversary. She went above and beyond to ensure the visit was special and memorable, which it certainly was!
