Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States Minor Outlying IslandsThe staff, especially the receptionist, were very rude. At the check in nothing was explained about the facility. The receptionist seemed to be mad and didn't explain anything to us. She just gave us a bunch of paper sheets and said there was an elevator. We didn’t receive a parking permit for our car and when I requested one at the reception with receptionist Kayla she was extremely rude. She immediately got mad and said that everyone receives one at check in after explaining to her that we didn’t receive it, she proceeded to make face gestures and handed the permit to us in a bad way, when it was not even our fault. I think that for a facility that doesn’t charge average prices, this behavior is unacceptable and totally unprofessional. After reading several reviews, I confirm that we are not the only guests that have experienced the same treatment from the receptionist, which unfortunately represents the lack of action from the manager to attend this situation.
The property is beautiful. Everything we’ll keep and the location is unbeatable.

United States of AmericaWe have stayed @ Callaway numerous times and all the staff was delightful, but this time the front desk clerk was very rude several times…and when we checked out she was picking her teeth with her nail and mumbling. Not a good look for the front desk. Hope when we come back it will be better. Very disappointed!
Everything was good. Nice to see they are renovating and adding new things.

United States of AmericaThe coffee shop needed more staffing. Only one person assigned, lots of waiting time. The person did the best she could do but it’s too much for one person. (My opinion). This was a weekend Sat night people were getting coffee, dessert, quick meals just needed more staff at least 2 people in my opinion- 1 person at register and another to get coffee, ice cream, paninis etc.
I like the new coffee shop/ grab and go

United States of AmericaPrime rib buffet was quite disappointing, precut rib was thinly sliced, tough & dry. Nobody was at cutting station. No rolls were out. No containers to put cocktail sauce in at shrimp station. Ranch salad dressing was empty. Southwest egg rolls were not labeled & complimented nothing about meal. Desserts too similar to one another (lemon especially). I would not go, or recommend the buffet again.

United States of AmericaService in the restaurant at the lodge was not great. Need to hire more people. Food was fine however , the stark lights on the buffet? in a the evening when not even a buffet was disconcerting. Made restaurant stark not warm and lodge like. Again, hire and train more staff in regards to fine r dining. We had to wait so long for a drink , we finally left our table and got one from the bar to drink while waiting for server.
The service at the spa was much better than in the past !

United States of AmericaGoogle Maps! I know you can't fix that, but you asked!
Google maps has no idea where you are! LOL! Seriously, I drove through most of the Fantasy in Lights during the mid afternoon trying to get to the lodge. Google directed me to turn into what were obviously golf cart pathways twice. I could SEE the back of the lodge, but I couldn't get to it. The drive was nice though!
