Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaNoise. First room was not very clean. Second room had great views, a leaky shower (which the staff promptly fixed) but was definitely noisy. That said, we knew we would overlook Rainey Street so not really an issue.

CanadaI wasn't informed about the housekeeping routine so was disappointed when I returned and found that my coffee hadn't been replenished nor bed made up. I had ample towels and respect the eco approach about linens, but do feel that having to stop at the front desk or call for coffee, coffee cups etc to be a bit of a drag--however they were quick to take care of it.
The room was generously sized and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Enjoyed a bite to eat at the Graffiti restaurant and the bartender was very nice and mixed a lovely cocktail (Green Day), the chicken wrap I had was just right after a long travel day. The hotel is adjacent to Rainey street which is lively and diverse to meet whatever you are in the mood for. The live music that Austin is known for is right there as well. Although I didn't have time to enjoy the pool area, there was plenty of seating and great view of all the action. I had one day to be a tourist and I didn't have a car but found that even with all the high-rise construction in the neighbourhood it was an easy and safe walk to the attractions and visitor center!

United States of AmericaNot enough customer facing staff, and some didn’t engage but luckily the rest made up for it. Bathroom floor should have been cleaner.
Great location, shares an alleyway with Rainey Street bars/restaurants and live entertainment venues, and just blocks from downtown and the lake/river.

BrazilThe hotel should invest in vaccum cleaners as carpets and rooms floors were not cleaned during my one week stay. In addittion my room had house-keeping visits 3 times in the week due to either lack of Hotel organization or staff availability. I didn’t complaint there as I usually left my room at 8:30AM getting back around 7pm. In the checkout there was no receipt although I asked for and the employee told me I was all set . Later in the day they charged my credit card in USD34,64 that during this week I will find out the details.
New hotel well located close to Austin Convention Center. Nice decoration, room and bathroom as of the website photos. New towels, new bed linen nice and new in cotton. Shower was very good. Room has not 100% acustic isolation but level of noise coming from the street was supportable. The employees are heroes as they are few to run the hotel. They do whatever is possible to help with luggage, amazon boxes, checkin and checkout. I didn’t use the parking but the wallet guy was always there.

United States of AmericaThere was no soap or body wash in the room. I called the front desk and they said they would alert housekeeping. No one ever came. Had to set into shower and use shampoo to wash hands. The hotel seemed to be very short staffed. Bed and pillows were too firm.
Location. It was close to the river and downtown.

United States of Americasolid soap bars were all cracked and falling apart (!) ice and water center can dispense both H2O and ice at same time, but not into my wide mouth water bottle (nor to two separate containers at once). Your rooftop bar (Limestone) had a Sat night Galentine's themed DJ night that promised femme anthems from all decades: so why only male voices singing about their female love (or sex) interest (with Diana Ross singing I'm Coming Out)? We were very disappointed but that's not really about our room or the hotel's features.
really well appointed room. liked the feel and quality of the sheets and towels. nice decor and layout of the main room and the bathroom. staff always helpful (and appropriately enthusiastic) ... We really thought all your lobby staff (and the valet guys, not that we had a car, but they greeted all arriving) were super great customer service folks, indeed over and above the excellence if those working the Four Seasons!

United States of AmericaThe staff was extra friendly and welcoming. Our valet guy on the first day greeted us with a big smile and a good attitude. Our car was delivered quickly every time we left the hotel. Maiah at the front desk has a great and happy personality and was really sweet. Jeremy was also so nice and friendly and hung out at the bar and talked to me while he made me an Espresso that was delicious. I’m sensitive to hotels that don’t seem clean and there was not one thing in this hotel that grossed me out. It was super clean! I felt very safe due to the main lobby being on the fifth floor and the key card access in the elevators. The pillow on the bed was a little thick for me and the room was hot (I just sleep better in the cold) but other than that I loved my stay, and I would go back.
