Charmin would be a nice addition, as the current brand of toilet tissue can chafe pampered touches. A microwave in each room would also be handy, but we never needed it to the effort of using the one in the lobby. There is not much that can be done for the slightly crowded parking late at night as you're next to a lovely hiking trail. Just the first night I had to clarify if I could in fact park in the lower portion of the lot, which we did a few nights and all was fine and the difference in distance was negligible. There is really nothing of substance that is a drawback to this hotel. We LOVED our stay & hope to return.

This is a Fantastic Hotel! From the architecture to the mattresses, everything exceeded expectations. The beds are comfortable, you can cast any of your streaming services to the television, the grounds are WOW! It's quiet even though you're right around the corner from the 101. And the Keurig in the room makes it easy to wake up, the shower is lovely and modern to help get your day going. We never did figure out how to connect our music to the mirror in the bathroom, the option exists.

I really like the cleanliness of the entire property. From the lobby to the rooms, everything was great, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The bed/bed sheets were incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail in providing a cozy and luxurious sleeping experience is chefs kiss. I like the size of the TV in the room. The Google Chromecast amenity is awesome so I can stream my favorite shows and YouTube videos. The pool area is well-maintained and gorgeous. I would like to thank Elizabeth at the front desk for her exceptional service. She is always very friendly :)

Noise from floor above at 1am 🙁! Coffee maker was temperamental. Hate fixed shower heads.

Obvisouly you stay at this hotel for a specific reason (work - wedding not too far from this hotel - etc.) but I will not stay there for vacation - you are right on the freeway - the restaurant is lacking of a good menu and it is super expensive. Staff is not super welcoming unfortunately ...

This hotel was nicely renovated - the room are amazing and super comfy - they did a good job - love the design and the beds are really confortable - really clean as well

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. I didn’t have a lot of curb appeal, but that’s not important to me at all.

This hotel is a little gem. It was small and chic, and exactly what I was looking for. There was a small but lovely outside area, as well as a friendly bar and small restaurant with a very nice menu and a wonderful cocktail and wine list. It’s also very conveniently located just off the Ventura Freeway

Bar wasn’t opened when we arrived (3-4pm). Service a little slapdash overall. But we had a lovely server when we had dinner.

Unreasonable charge for parking as they have enough space. The pool is between the hotel and the mountain, therefore, early in the afternoon the area is 75% shadowed and chilly. Unless it is summertime, it can be frigid around the pool area before dawn. The said "heated pool" only means "not freezing cold". The water temperature wasn't inviting for a colder day or a night swim.

The coffee bar setup in the room was not restocked. We had to go down to the front desk to request coffee, cups and creamer each day. The room was not stocked with extra toilet paper nor tissue.

We did not eat at the hotel. The location made it easy to find several great places to dine. We went to Jinky’s for breakfast three days in a row!
