I didn’t like the fact that it had only 2 elevators working.

The parking! Valet is $59 a day or park on the Side and pay daily. It was like $7-$9 a day to park. Only Good part was I can see the car from the window.

The historic building was Beautiful even though they had construction going on outside. The location is perfect cause everything is in walking distance and Beautiful sites to see.

Bathroom faucet and fixtures were broken upon first arrival. Only 2 elevators were working and were slow. Parking and construction in the area made for troublesome coming and going!

Wifi security can be increased, as its a public network without pasword required, i can imagine this is not optimal for most business guests.

The showers are a great size and it has wall mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The difficulty we had was that there isn't an area other than the floor to put things you use like your own bar of soap, razor, shaving cream, etc. We made do but would have loved a shelf or something. We also found the pillows to be extremely soft.

We have stayed here once before and believe it will be a regular for us when we want to go to Minute Maid Park. It is a quick walk there and is easily the best price around. I used the gym this time and it was well equipped and there were hand towels available too!

Only one elevator was working during most of our stay, thus we had to walk up & down multiple flights of steps . Also a little creeped out by Sunday am male breakfast waiter who came on duty, finger in his nose, using his cell phone then picked up coffee pot to refill customer cups. Sure wished he’d washed his hands before beginning his shift.

Very convenient walking distance to Minute Maid Park, local restaurants and activities. The historic hotel is GORGEOUS, beautifully renovated and decorated. Very clean and well kept.

Proximity to MMP and the historic architecture. We loved the addition of the guys assisting with luggage and directing the arrival and departure of guests. Kameron was so helpful and service oriented.

The elevators were much too hard to get to use during certain times of the day because the cleaning staff were using them.

Rooms were huge. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Food and service in bar was excellent.

The lifts (elevators) were terrible and took an AGE to arrive. Only 2 out of the 5 appeared to be working. On one occasion we waited about 8 minutes for one to take us down from the 10th floor. Also, there is a large building site opposite the hotel - this isn't mentioned anywhere in the description. The workers started before 7am and made lots of noise! This should be made clear to prospective guests before making a reservation. Valet parling was very expensive. We found a good public car park 2 block away that charged a third of the price.

Our room was excellent....it was large and the bathroom was a very good size, too. We were very pleased with the room. Location was good, too.
