This isn’t a brand new motel. It’s been around a long time, so expect that there will be quirks.

Enjoyed our stay in this cute vintage castle shaped hotel. The facilities are clean and well maintained for an older property. Great water pressure in the shower! I have no complaints and felt the room was above average for the age.

I like that they allow Check in until 12am and that it's close to my house so I was able to walk to check in while I was remodeling my house

The water pressure was so strong it actually hurt. Better than being too weak though.

The person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. There were two doors for each room, one attached to the hotel and one outside to the parking lot.

It was easy to access from the main highway, I-40... Not too far, by taxi to the downtown area, and the proprietor Michael was very helpful and friendly...

Room was a bit dirty and desperately in need of updates and maintenance. I’ve stayed in many hotels in Amarillo and this was by far in the worst condition. It was okay for just passing through for the night but i would not have wanted to stay longer.

It was conveniently located right off the freeway and the front desk is apparently open 24 hrs so convenient if you’re passing through Amarillo very late and need a quick stop for the night.

Room smelled of cigarettes, man that came to room said he would bring spray to clear odor, never did. Very stinky.

Note this place is RIGHT ACROSS from the interstate thus it's very loud and dusty. Accomodations were very shabby but clean. If the cost of this room were $35 instead of $115 I'd be ecstatic about the "vaule"...

Weary travelers needed a convenient place off the Interstate, and this was it.

It was right next to freeway, which was not to loud. The vending machines worked. It had a frig. Would've brought me a microwave if I wanted it. Cable TV. Very old building but it was clean and comfortable and I will stay there again.

The beds were a little stiff and the pillows a bit thin.

Is this place old? Yes. Some peeling wall paper? Yes. Common areas smell like cigarettes? Yes. But the room itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff was prompt and polite. What more could you want from a cheap place to lay your head during your road trip down I-40, except for it to look like a castle?

Very few amenities. No coffee in the room. No microwave. Very few towels. No hangers in the closet. Several light bulbs out in the bathroom.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They were pet friendly.

The laundry room out of service!

The two queen beds were broken down on the sides closest to the center of the room! The mattresses were leaning inward towards the floor. The under carriage was broken. The floors needed scrubbed. Both of the bedspreads we're very dirty, had short white animal hair everywhere. The hair became a minor issue with allergies. All in all I like this hotel, it is quiet. Has super nice, outgoing staff. They have a $10 per pet/day fee!
