United States of AmericaThe "cottage" I stayed in is really a mobile home, with mobile home quality. For the same cost as a regular hotel, you also have to bring all your own linen, pillows, bed coverings. etc., and that wasn't made clear by Booking.com or the Camp Cardinal. Fortunately a friend warned me.
Pleasant surroundings. An outdoor outlet available for Level 1 charging of an electric vehicle.

United States of AmericaI didn't like the fact that due to me not going online and redoing a reservation I could not extend my reservation at the same price therefore having to pack up and leave to see if I could find somewhere else reasonable to stay. I am on a business transfer type situation so just until my permanent accommodations come through I just need something temporary it's just to sleep not to actually utilize the campground facilities or activities. I did take pictures before cleaning and after cleaning . I'm choosing not to share at this time. Needs yes expectations some where between no and yes - somewhat would have been the best choice.
The setting was amazing. I wasn't able to utilize the activities going on but the setting again was amazing. I did have to spruce up there was a lot of dust on the ceiling fan, walls and the air conditioning filter was caked and dust which made it hard for me to sleep the first night however once cleaning, taking care of the towlet, and mopping the floors which looked clean, all though they were tidy, they were dirty it was fine like I say utilization wise it suited my needs I was traveling with a pet had to pay a pet deposit. I felt since I actually left the campsite cleaner than I found it, I had respectfully requested my pet deposit back because of that and couldn't speak with anybody who could give that authority I did want to do an extended stay four more days and stay in the same cabin since it was clean, however that was going to be more than my original four-day stay cost. So I've elected to go back online and try and make another reservation for four more days in hopes that the price has not gone up.

United States of AmericaThe water smelled horrible!! Everyone noticed as soon as they walked in! Didn't drink it or shower in it...just was not able to manage the smell! I understand about water being in the tank but this never got better. The water pressure in the bathroom was very weak. We had a great time and would love to come back but only if there's not a water problem of that magnitude!

United States of AmericaWe were next to the maintenance cabin. The big dog inside would constantly bark if we went outside at all. Also. Maintenance came in very early on Sunday morning with a big deisel truck near the pool. They kept it idling for several hours shaking our cabin beginning well before 7am. They began power washing or something, also before 7 am.
We loved the cabin. Clean and fully functional. Camp itself was well laid out and we'll maintained. Store had what we needed. Staff were friendly and bright.

the cabins were a piece of crap. nothing like th pics on booking. It was filthy ..I have pics the ceiling fan had yrs of nasty on them. everything was mildewed. and the air conditioning had year of dirt too. and didn’t barely work.

United States of AmericaIt wasn't clean the bathroom toilet had poop on the back of the toilet I had to buy cleaning supplies to clean the bathtub had a huge dirt ring around it our first 3nights we had no water and the emergency number didn't work my husband found the outside water line to turn it on after we had been going to take thr kids to use the bathroom off the property and shower in town at a friend's house. Finally when the water was on it was a bad leak in the bathroom and no water pressure in the shower finally got someone on the phone it was fixed immediately . The constant plunging of the toilet because it kept stopping up.was exhausting We were told that it was bathrooms and bath house down the walk on the property we could have used but we paid for indoor facilities. Staff was polite but the facilities made me cry and feel bad that my grandkids didn't have proper accommodations
