We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaThe house is wonderful-no complaints. We arrived late at night and found it fairly easily. Bigger street numbers might have been a little helpful and possibly the porch light left on. If we had realized that Florida recycles in a dedicated bin from the outset of our stay, it would have been a little helpful, but we adjusted easily once we figured it out. All in all we loved every minute!
We traveled from Maine where night temperatures were in the single digits. Needless to say the soft humidity and gentle temperatures of Florida in January were lovely. It is close to many great places to visit, which we loved. This house on the canal was inviting and allowed for maximum relaxation. The row of windows facing the canal were glorious and the feathered visitors were fabulous. A bird refuge is close by which is a huge plus. Everything was clean and the owner reached out to us soon after our arrival to make sure we lacked nothing. Rain or shine, we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

United States of AmericaWe were disappointed that the Lanai was not there (most likely from the hurricane) - this could have been mentioned or updated, and it would have been super nice to open the living room doors when it was cool outside. The ice maker in the fridge did not work. However, they did have ice cube trays available.
The home was a nice short 15-20 minute drive to the ocean and grocery stores. The house was very clean. The pool was a great temperature and clean. They included pool floats, beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels. Overall, a great place to stay!

We really enjoyed staying at this awesome home with a great floor plan, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we needed. We very much enjoyed swimming in the heated pool, and watching fish jumping in the canal. Perfect place to set back, forget your worries, and enjoy the warm Port Charlotte winter weather.

United States of AmericaIt was a bit far from Port Charlotte proper, but there are plenty of amenities nearby, if your purpose is for leisure.
This is a beautiful property, nestled on the end of a canal. It was incredible having a cup of coffee while watching the sun rise over the pool and canal, in the back. You can't beat the price.

United States of AmericaOh boy, where to start. This property is nothing like it is represented on Booking.com. We got to the property around 6pm on the day of our arrival, but we were so tired after traveling all day so we just jumped into the beds. Next morning when we get up the reality hit us. The property was not cleaned properly, there was dust everywhere, bread crumbs under the kitchen table. hair in the bathroom floor and sink. Some plates in the kitchen cabinets have grease on them as well on the stove top. The silverware trays in the drawers had bread crumbs around them. In one of the bathrooms the vanity light was not working (burned out), only 1 light bulb from all 3 was on. The carpet in the living room wasn't the cleanest either, also 1 of the chairs had the leather ripped on the seat part. The overall setup of the living room furniture was not comfortable at all. We decided to contact the Owner / Manager about these issues , they said that they will send someone over to take care of the problems. The person arrived in about 2 hours later and we told her what is our issue with the property. She was at the house for about 1:30 hours (from which for about 30 minutes she was on the phone), but when she said she was done with the cleaning we checked the house and found out that most of the issues were not resolved. Also she said that she won't do a deep cleaning since she did it prior to our arrival the day before we arrived. So we decided to contact the Owner again and got a very rude response from them. They said that we are the "FIRST GUESTS" complaining about the property (everybody can say that). We are not confrontational people, but if you pay over $3K for almost 2 weeks than the property should be spotless. The outdoor area is another issue, the pool is not covered AT ALL, there's no Lanai over the pool as how it is represented on the pictures. The pool was dirty on our arrival , there were leaves and other debris in the pool.

United Kingdomafter a long drive it would of been nice to come into beds made up. We had to make the beds and master room sheets had a tear in them. clearly due to storm Ian the lani around the pool area had blown down which meant we couldn’t sit out at night due to getting bitten alive by mosquitoes and we had to give the pool a skim in the morning to get rid of bugs!
The property was well furnished and the kitchen was fully equipped. It had beautiful views over the water. lots of towels for pool use and easy instructions to gain entry! Nice and comfy beds!
