Location was perfect for us. We were amazed by the lending lockers. It was nice to see things that would make the stay so much easier if we were staying longer. The kitchenette was well stocked & I was excited to see how well appointed it was.

On the floor we were staying when you got off the elevator, the floor had no carpet or flooring upon it.

The kitchen set up was excellent. We were in town for a family reunion and I used it for food preparation. I was excited that they provided this anemity.

These 3 I fault myself for not researching thoroughly enough in the first place and instead assuming, which leads to assumptions. 1) no free breakfast in the am 2) no pool 3) no ice machine (what hotel doesn’t have this at least?). Result? You get what you pay for (again, that’s on me but felt it was worth noting). The last thing would be that the hotel should do it’s best to maintain the carpeting on the 3rd floor. As one other person had said from a couple mos. I believe, there is a large patch completely missing which is not a good look.

The plus’s: the staff was very kind and helpful. The room was spacious and much nicer than the main hallway outside the room so it was a pleasant surprise. The AC worked great, you can’t put a price on comfort.

I stayed on the 3rd floor, carpeting was ripped up by elevator and edges were duct taped down…I thought this looked really bad and thought it should have been fixed immediately. Not a very good look for the price the hotel is asking. Also, on the outside of the property, right as you walk up, there is a bench right in front with a garbage can and cigarette receptacle. There were cigarette butts thrown all over in the rocks right next to it. I was surprised (actually shocked) that no one from the staff took the time to clean them up, I would think the owners or management would have a bit more pride in the appearance of their hotel. I booked online so didn’t see any of this until I got there at 11pm and it was too late to change my reservation or I would have. I really like this hotel, but will not stay again for these reasons.

It’s obviously an older facility. The carpet needed a deep clean. I stepped on something sticky and I don’t want to know what it was.

We drove from TX to ND in one straight shot overnight. We arrived at noon exhausted. They allowed us to check in early & get a good nap before we had to go to work. The facility is older but they have obviously made upgrades. The staff were very nice and the bed was SO comfortable. It’s also close to a little bit of everything so the location is perfect.

We had prepaid 2 weeks in advance through booking.com. the charge on Mt account is from candlewood. Upon arrival, the hotel did not have my reservation, and no rooms were available! We were in town for 2 days for a celebration of life, on a holiday weekend!! Had to scrambled to find an alternative...not easy on a holiday weekend. Then, I still have not been fully reimbursed! Even with showing my charge, they owe me over $30!
