Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The restaurant was unorganized. We were told by one person to sit anywhere then told by another we needed reservations. Lighting in the room was dim.

Street noise was disruptive and made it hard to sleep. Bathroom shower tiles needed repair.
Lovely hotel but as for the room (408), the street noisy was... a lot... which made it very hard to both fall asleep and stay asleep. Additionally, tiles in the shower were broken - not just one tile, but an entire strip of tiles on the shower floor just beneath the shower heads.

The food that we ordered through the hotel was overpriced and really wasn’t that good. I almost sent something back, but I didn’t want to be that person. We ended up DoorDashing. Even though I pre-paid through Booking.com, they had hundreds of dollars of charges on my credit card temporararily. Annoying. For that reason alone I’d never stay here again. There’s just no need to do that.
Perfect location on campus. The rooms were nice and the property was clean

Parking was an extra fee
Great location to ASU campus-nice areas to lounge with a cozy fireplace, games etc it was too cold to use the rooftop but we did enjoy breakfast

Room cleaning every two days is perfectly fine. Maybe just some extra toilet paper and kleenex in the room to tide us over.
Breakfast was delicious. It was past the time when we could order breakfast so we told our server we were just going to have a cinnamon bun. The chef came out and asked us what we wanted for breakfast and made it up for us. We were incredibly thankful for his kind gesture. Location was perfect for us as we spent most of our time at Mullett Arena. Walked to/from games we were watching there and enjoyed the amenities in the neighbourhood.

At.night, with curtains closed, it was hard to read.. Needed more light.
Great, friendly, helpful staff. Good food. Close to the stadium where we met our kids for the Oregon Arizona State game.

AlterEgo the restaurant in the lobby has amazing food, highly recommend it highly, the ambience is also very warm and friendly. My only input is that is open on limited hours, would be nice to have coffee/drinks at least throughout the day

location and very nice hotel the beth room very well equipped. Also i like the fact that it was pet friendly and can have my dog and they only collect a deposit just in case and the following day we had the receipt in the email for the original amount without an extra charge for our dog. Honest staff!!

That I couldn't stay longer
I loved everything about this hotel from the smell when I first walked in to the art work on the wall. The staff was amazing. Their are so many spots to take pictures and the roof top pool with private cabanas were great. The food and frozen margaritas were perfect.

the property was extremely well kept, modern and stylish. the pool was amazing and they set out fresh infused water to drink in the hot sun. The pool bar served amazing drinks and the restaurant food (especially breakfast) was to die for! 10/10 across the board.

BARN DOORS FOR BATHROOM PRIVACY The bathroom door would slide open. The room was great, however the separation of the bathroom is by a barn door that slides open and does not give any privacy.
Did not have breakfast, but ate dinner. Food was great!

The hotel has got to do something about the barn-style doors on the shower/toilet rooms and between the bathroom and bedroom itself. They do not stay open, they do not stay closed, and they do not afford any privacy. These are lovely rooms for one person, but not really for more. It is nice that the closet/sink/mirror area are separate from the shower/toilet area, but only if the barn-doors worked, which they do not. Another problem is lack of any way to get fresh air into the room from outside.
The location was great and all staff were excellent. Bathroom fixtures and towels seem new and sparkling clean. Breakfast was good.
