Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Wonderful place to stay. Brenda and Manny were great hosts. Breakfast was awesome and coffee and snacks available all day. Sitting outside under the tree with a glass of wine after a long day was the best!

We absolutely enjoyed our 2 night stay with Brenda and Manny. The moment we arrived we felt at home. Our room was super cozy, they provided anything you could require. Recommendations, nice talks and best breakfast included. Great location for visiting Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend.

I found some hair and plastic debris in the shower drain under the extra loose drain cover th first day we stayed. It was probably missed from previous renter as the extra drain cover was removed when showered and then moved back over the drain.
Our hostess did an amazing job with breakfast, especially considering the small restrictions on diet. The quality of the food was great. The host and hostess were very accommodating. Thank you for the pleasant mornings that you provided during our stay.

Brenda’s breakfast was delicious and made to order! Plenty of fresh fruit. Just a perfect 2 night stay to visit Horseshoe Bend, Powell Lake/Glen Dam and Antelope Canyon (which was spectacular)!

The breakfast is a little bit not enough for young men.We got hungry early around noon.
The host is very friendly.She prepared quilt for my sofa bed(the only logde prepared it before i require during my US. trip)and made breakfast at 7a.m. for us.

Brenda and Manny are terrific hosts, ready to answer questions and give excellent local advise. The room was clean and in good condition, we loved the garden and the dog, Tucker. The breakfast was amazing! Location is nearly perfect to explore surroundings.

We felt like at home! Owners are great, they really make you feel comfortable. Home-made breakfast was amazing. You can use all the facilities including garden and the patio. All day refreshments (coffee, tea etc.) are available. Location is great - quiet neighbourhood, but very close to all main attractions nearby.

Room was very small and our bathroom was private but down the hall. Somehow we did not know that before booking
We enjoyed their hospitality, great breakfasts, and sitting on their front patio. Brenda gave us great suggestions on where to eat. Plus recommended the Canyon trading post before turning onto 64 going to Grand Canyon. It was a great place to shop and had delish Navajo tacos

The bed were a little soft for our liking.
We had a great time here! The house is beautiful and well equipped. The owner are very nice and welcoming and their dog is cute. The breakfast are delicious and filling.

The hosts are very kind people and will be happy to help you with anything. Also the room is large, clean and has clean towels and shower utilities. Every morning Brenda will make a nice breakfast for you, containing fruits, juice and something like French toast or a bagel.
