Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaBathroom sink was poorly thought out. The space between faucet and sink bowl was unusually lacking and so washing hands, face etc was difficult. Window coverings were either totally closed or totally open. There was no option for letting light in while also obscuring the room from outside observers.
Location was best part. Exactly where I needed to be. Room was spacious and clean. Building is old and it shows a bit but it's not an issue with functionality. Room temperature controls were useful.

United States of AmericaThe doors slamming in the hallway of other rooms (and the people in the room next to us had early flights or were on European time zone) woke me up several times - they were loud. And the free breakfast is bare bones basic - but they've got what you need.
The room was great. It was my sister's wedding, and she and I shared a room the night before her wedding. She got the bed, I got the pullout sofa and it was actually pretty comfortable.

United States of AmericaThe parking was a little tricky and definitely not worth the $50 the hotel charges. They shouldn’t charge at all. Our room was smaller than we expected but we made it work. The location was a little far from the monument but it was still nice.
The hotel was very cute We were well greeted and check in was a breeze. The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The really made our stay so nice. Loved the 24 water/coffee/ Tea station and free breakfast.

ItalyBreakfast room is located in a different building beside the Hotel building, this makes uncomfortable our stay as you are obligated to get out of the building to have breakfast and come back in.

United States of AmericaThere was not enough hot water on any day for the three of us to shower. Even with the water turned all the way as hot as it would go, it wasn’t hot for the first two and was tepid for the last person. Also, the “kitchenette” only had two mugs and two small glasses; it did have a mini fridge, microwave, pod coffee machine, and dishwasher (even though there weren’t any dishes really).
Location was great (close to Metro). The staff were friendly and professional. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were quiet. We loved having access to hot water, tea, and coffee in the lobby area.

GermanyLackluster staff. We never had housekeeping the entire stay-3 nights. Our soap and shampoo were empty on arrival. We called to get wifi and were told “it’s in your guide” but there was no guide in our room. We used the pullout sofa, and while adequately comfortable we were not provided enough pillows and blankets. Even after asking front desk we still only received one additional thin blanket.
Location. It was in a great area to walk to restaurants and all the monuments, buildings and museums around the main mall area.

United States of AmericaBreakfast - the hot part was a little too microwaved processing tasting to me. And our room had a problem with the microwave and the bathroom toilet. They fixed the microwave issue.
It is a nice place. Staff was very helpful because I had a unique car problem and they helped me. I also had a wheelchair, so they helped with accessibility too.
