Never saw anyone in check in office. Security guard checked us in and for 4 days never saw anyone inside. I tried calling the front desk at one point and no one ever answered, sent to voice-mail. My call wasn't important enough to leave a message, but the fact I never saw or talked to any front desk person was odd. I tried to check out of my room in the office 4 days after I checked in, and you guessed it was locked and no one to be seen. It was a good thing I didn't drop the key cards in the drop box yet due to the fact that I had to return to the room to scan the check-out qr code. That won't keep me from going back, now I know how it works. It was a nice stay other than the circus combined royal rumble going on in the room right above us for 3 days straight with almost no breaks. Sounded like dropped bowling balls and horses running around. The hotel was quite empty so was wandering why we were put right under another checked in guest room. The hotel was like 90% vacant and God as our witness, the room was so loud. As I wanted to change rooms, no one was in office or answered the phone.

Kind of peaceful except the above room that was hosting a rodeo and royal rumble at the same time while bowling ball dropping sounds.

Very thin walls.

I liked the quiet location which was very close to the Health Facility where we had to be at 7:00am. The room was big and had everything. it was also very clean even though nothing fancy.

The beds were less comfortable than we are used to this stay. They were ultra firm, which is good for some, but not others. This is no fault of the resort, but our upstairs neighbor was extremely noisy - at one point, it sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling.

We love staying at this property as most of the time it is very quiet, the facilities are clean, and the amenities on site are fantastic. The bar and grill is always a highlight- excellent breakfast!

The staff is very friendly it is in a private peaceful location with a lot of scenery. They have a private pool and a restaurant for your family. I plan on staying there every time we visit San Diego.

Breakfast availability perhaps - the property is away from the closest restaurants, further than walking distance. The facility has a restaurant as part of the golf operation but it was closed during my whole stay. Coffee in the room was of typical budget quality. Since parking was mixed with golf goers, the lot has a slight risk feel but was well lit and in a quite neighborhood - absolutely no issues for my stay.

This is really a motel - slightly older property but well kept and clean. Compared to the other available rooms in the area for the same price, this had a nice setting on a golf course. Slight up charge for a room with a view but nice and relaxing. Nice pool and spa pool, free parking. Newer bedding and mattress, good tall shower and tub, plenty of room to move around in the room - one of the advantages of an older property sometimes. Room also had a small refrigerator which is nice.

Not a whole lot of dining nearby, room decor is very dated. Some neglect is readily apparent. Sinks are separating from their wall mounts. The rugs are worn. Insects. Lots of insects. Front desk unavailable until 11am guess morning shift called in sick.

The spa was not working. We were very disappointed. I asked if we could get a breakfast credit because the spa was down and were told it was not allowed. I have chronic pain and was really looking forward to using it. Being charged for 3 nights when we only stayed 2.

Breakfast was good, the service was good. The outdoor patio is beautiful. MarIcela at the desk was extremely helpful, efficient and worked hard for me with reservation issues with Booking.com

Office and food not available at checkout on Monday. Sliding door to bathroom very unreliable-would not stay closed. tv was a challenge but we figured it out.

Carpet outdated and stained. Smelled like a retirement home and the pipes made really loud noises when we turn the water on.

Ice machine did not work, bed was a bit hard, but the worst was the constant jumping, pounding and just plain noise from the room above mine and my brothers room that was next to mine that seemed to go on for hours starting at 3am and lasting till about 730am. Called the front desk and security numbers and both went to an answering machine. Unfortunately even though this was close to the party we drove down for, we (My brother his girlfriend and myself) WILL NOT be staying at this lodge again, we will most likely just drive the 2 hours home than have to deal with the noise since we didn't sleep anyway.

Front desk young lady was very nice, A/C worked well, water Got hot very fast, close to family function that was in town for.
