Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI think the cost was a bit high and I left brand new red towels that I purchased and I wish they would’ve contacted me. I would’ve paid for the shipping to receive them back.
It was very clean and quiet.

United States of AmericaKey was extremely tricky to work at first. It has to be held horizontally and moved slightly to the right and either a red or green light will go off indicating it is unlocked. No onsite staff so if you want to check in with a person you have to drive up the road. Walls are thin as is common in roadside motels so expect to overhear your neighbors conversations.
Clean. The closest most affordable accommodation near Savannah. Room was clean on a bus line going to downtown.

United States of AmericaThe Reno has to be one of the ugliest interior design I’ve ever seen in a room. The tiled walls were atrocious and looked like right out of 1970. It looked like someone got a bargain on a truckload of old tile.
It was clean

United States of AmericaThe shower was small, but not much can be done about that. You probably want to bring shower shoes, since the entire floor is tiled and can be slick when your feet are wet.
It was better than expected for the price. It was clean and everything was functional. And, it included a full-size refrigerator.

United States of AmericaWhat I didn’t like was having to go to another location to pick up the keys for the room. When I got to my room, one key didn’t work at all, and the other one worked after tapping the door several times. (It’s not an actual key, it’s a card that’s supposed to unlock when you hold it up against the door handle) Since I was having issues with the card, I tried calling the number provided in the email I was sent, and no one would answer the three times I called. The room itself was nice, but it was not clean (trash under the bed, some debris from the outside in every corner, and the remote was covered in something sticky) and when I used the shower, water leaked out under the bathroom sink and into the room itself. For the price I paid for two nights I can’t be upset, but I do wish this was fixed. There was also one outlet that I could use to charge my phone, so keep this in mind if you’re bringing more than your phone and a laptop or tablet.
What I liked most was the location of the motel. It was within a 10-15 minute drive from the places I needed to get to in downtown Savannah. I also liked that the location of the motel was in an area not as busy as the center of Savannah. But keep in mind, there’s a railroad right outside and both nights I was there, I woke up to the sound of a train going by. If you’re needing to stay in Savannah for a night or two at a cheaper price than other places, I’d recommend, but keep in mind you get what you pay for.

United States of AmericaThe shower curtain is made out of a dark fabric, so it gets really wet, and when you close it, it gets dark in the shower. But the worst was definitely my next door guests. They kept smoking Marijuana and playing loud music day and night. I kept waking up during the night but was just too tired (and a little scared, to be honest) to go and ask them to bring the volume down.
The front desk lady is very nice. For the price, I knew what I was paying for. But it was better than I expected when I got there. And the room doesn't have a carpet, which is awesome (means cleaner and no allergies). The location is good because it's pretty close to a gas station, a bank of America in case you need cash for tipping the tours, a market, and about only 12-15 minutes from where all the fun is.
