    Back off on the cleaning disinfectant - too much and tell about the key and door lock

    The smell of disinfectant was tooooooo MUCH! the floors appeared very clean, but When I dropped something on the floor, I noticed the floor that meets the wall was dirty. I didn't like that we had to go to a different motel to get the key. When we tried the key- it didn;t work. I called the number and it was answered immediatly and was instructed to leave the card over the door lock UNTIL the red light comes on. It took a few more secondes but it did work- shoudl have been told that at pick up of key ( as other guests had same issue)

    Easy 12 minutes to down town. Bed was comfortable. Im glad I brought my own pillow

    Train tracks, noisy & cold. No coffee, ice or water, chair or lamp. Missing smoke alarm. Unmanned office at location never opened. Tile is very slippery when wet.

    Cute, green space, dog friendly, renovation.

    1. squirrels in the roof 2. previous occupants hair on the bathroom floor 3. for the first week or so an electronic door key which seldom worked 4. the advertised laundry which didn't exist. 5. the advertised WiFi and TV which were spotty at best 6. the low pressure in bathroom basin

    1) No staff at all on-site, and a note on the door stating no staff will be available to pick up the phone after 9pm either, suggesting you just call 911. So, if your toilet is flooding or key not working - you are out of luck till next morning? Moreover, when I did try to call the posted # during the listed business hours, nobody was picking up the phone. Luckily, somebody picked up when I called a different number listed on booking.com; but the entire scenario of nobody available on the property to help with anything; needing to call the number posted right on the door multiple times, getting frustrated enough to wonder if the numbers are listed different etc. to get any help, is not particularly an OK environment. 2) Listing states "contactless check-in/out", The check-in process is not only NOT contactless, but also at a different facility a mile away with no warning. So, if you happen to take a bus or taxi to the location listed that drops you off by a reception area with a lit "OPEN" sign, you are up to a rude awakening, because it is really NOT open. You are then left with the option to either walk 2-miles round-trip on a road with no sidewalk to pick up your key, or call taxi all over again. 3) The listing says daily room cleaning with an OPTION to decline. Housekeeping showed up on day 1 and just did not show up on day 2, although I did absolutely nothing to indicate I was not interested. 4) This is not per se the management's responsibility, but the motel is right by the railroad, so if you are a sensitive sleeper. you better NOT stay here because there are train horns going off literally all night. 5) Odd policy welcoming pets. but prohibiting kids This place could be quite all right with a little TLC, but as of right now it feels like somebody's neglected stepchild

    Owner has two motels a couple miles apart. I arrived at the Carole motel at check-in time to find a sign saying that I had to go to the other location to check in. Drove there and got a key card and went back to the Carole to find that the key card didn't work. Had to call the owner who said he had the wrong date written down for my reservation. Had to go back to second motel again and was given a room (suite) there that was spacious but had no coffee maker, no cup or water glass, no bedside table or light, and no toilet-paper holder.

    The property manager kept texting me to take her places. I had to buy batteries for the lock on my room door before it got fixed. This Mandy person is absolutely insane!

    Shower was small. And some may not like the train noise going back and forth. But i kinda liked watching the trains

    I couldn't find a plug in the bathroom for my curling iron. But there was one in the room so I used that

    Great value for the price. Nothing fancy but very clean. The staff works hard and will go out of their way to accommodate you. It was quiet and peaceful. I didn't hear a thing all night. Convenience store/ gas station right across the street. Not a huge selection, but you can get something. I would gladly stay three again.

    Hey... What's not to like, great option for the price, good location with some quick convenient stores & food in the vicinity. Just wished the had some shower mats.

    To start... The receptionist Mandy was exceptional in accommodating my needs. Made Sure that I had extra towels and promptly fixed an issue that I had with the shower curtain. I would definitely recommend this place for the price. They go over and beyond to make your stay pleasurable.

    Everything. Hard Bed up against hard mirror. 1 very lumpy pillow each- neck hurt in morning.. TV did not work- She said others hD complained but it had not been fixed. She got 1 channel to work and said she would have someone come fix it, no one did. She said she would bring us a shower curtain that was being washed- she never did. The shower head dripped all night splashing on the bathroom floor. My husband slipped on it in the night when he needed to use the bathroom Between the constant drip and train whistles all night and horrible bed and pillows I could not sleep. I sent her several messages asking for a partial then full refund. She never answered any of them. I booked it because the reviews said it was pleasant but it was the worst hotel I have ever been in.

    Ive never given a review before but people need to know!!! Nothing was good aboutit. . It was clean but she apologized for the awful smell of bleach which gave me a headache. We had to open a window smell was so bad and it was hot.

    The office closed at 8 o'clock and there was no service after that. My TV and heater didn't work. The phone number that I was given wasn't answered and messages weren't returned.

    Staff thought I had cancelled the room so it wasn't ready when I arrived. The air conditioning didn't work and it was very hot and humid. I contacted the staff member who had given me her phone number and she told me the repair person was out of town. The TV didn't work. I called the staff person again and she said she would try to help, but I waited more than a half hour and never heard back. The room was horrid and dirty. There was no lamp only a pink-bulbed ceiling light and a black light. One was was entirely covered by a mirror. I did not stay there more than an hour or two trying to resolve the issues before I moved to another hotel.

    There was nothing that I liked about this place but the location - amidst the bustle of the Port of Georgia.

    Location, between 2 railroads. Almost no water from the sink, key card for door opening didn’t work. I had to ask the lady to unlock the door. Room was not very cleaned.

    Warm water, airco and tele. The lady at reception was very helpful and kind.

    The owners of the property doesn’t take care or upkeep any of his properties. Me and my wife stayed and had no key to get into our room since the keypad thing needed batteries but the owner wouldn’t get it replaced. We also had no shower in our room the water wouldn’t turn on. They ended up moving us to another room at a different place but owned by the same guy and the people working at that one didn’t care about any issues we needed batteries for the remote and got dead batteries to replace the ones that was already dead in the tv remote. The second place had a shower but still the same issue with not being able to get into the room. I recommend the people they’re great but the owners are really letting these workers down with very poor upkeep.

    The people that work there are great lovely people!
