The location is prime for this area! Lots of food and entertainment nearby, even walking distance. The property was absolutely serene!

Noise from machines (electric generator or whatever it was) outside, blocking river sound. Good thing is that IT stopped some time during the night.

The rooms are tired and not recently renovated. The shower head is placed very low so if you are taller you will have to bow low to wash your head.

Carr's is a motel about 15-20 min walk to the center of Gatlinburg. We liked that it was far from the busy streets and had parking onsite (not all accommodations do in the center). The rooms were spacious and clean. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the stream and the ability to have breakfast next to the stream. They were helpful in getting a crib for our young one despite not booking one. Great base for visiting the Smoky Mountains

The refrigerator was wonky and too cold. You cannot use 3 prong plugs in the ground fault outlets.

Great location with parking and internet included. Outdoor pool and other facilities available in warmer weather. The staff are exceptional and this was our second stay at this property.

The River and Mountain view from the patio was beautiful and relaxing. It was a short walk from the Aquarium and shopping and dining. The cottage was very cozy. Loved the fireplace. It had everything we needed. Will highly recommend!!

The cleanliness of the cabin

The staff was very nice. Also close to downtown gatlinburg. The cabin though had roaches and luckily they had another room that was bug free.

I got ate alive by a bug at night. Didn’t seem to be bed bugs. Possibly a spider? Not sure but it bit the crap out of me.

The only thing I didn't like in the specific room we stayed in was, the shower was not tall enough for my 6'1" fiance but that's not unusual for him lol. But a shower head that comes off the wall would have been kinda nice to he didn't have to squat to shower. And I think the shower curtain needs raised a bit cause even I bumped my head on it before getting in and I'm 5'2" other than that everything was absolutely perfect.

The staff is super nice, very helpful, and just amazing honestly. This is the second time we have stayed here in the last 3yrs that we have been going up there and the only reason we didn't stay there last year was because we was with friends so we wanted just 1 small cabin. But we love how Carrs is walking distance (granted the 1 hill you gotta walk up to get back does kinda suck but we noticed it isn't AS bad if you walk on the left side of the road going back lol idk why bt the right side felt harder to walk)

There was not enough fire pits was hoping to be able to sit by the fire for awhile. That was one of the reasons I choose to stay there.

Place was great loved being down by the creek helped me relax. I opened the window so that I could hear it as I went to sleep. I would love to stay in one of the cabins next time.
