The grounds, the hosts, the accommodations. It was a last minute choice and they couldn’t have been nicer. The old horse barn has been converted to a lovely space, so comfortable and very accessible for my blind husband. Wonderful stay!

I think refrigerator should be cleaned out between new and arriving guests or have guests dispose of their own items on check out. Would have loved to meet Rachel!

The location could not have been more perfect. It was tucked away just off one of the main roads, with a beautiful view of the mountain from the kitchen window. We were just up the road from the local grocery store, the ski resort, and some great local eats. Hightower Pub was our favorite breakfast spot! Our room was just what we needed, cozy and comfortable. We also enjoyed access to the hot tub, and the kitchen during our stay. Our hosts were great and receptive to making sure we had what we needed. Would absolutely recommend!

Having the hot tub is wonderful, maybe just finding a way to make sure guests only use it for an hour at a time? The first evening we arrived, guests were in the hot tub for hours, super loud and seemingly very intoxicated. Not the property or staff's fault at all! Just a bit unfair for other paying guests as we could not use the tub that night due to other guests' overuse and lack of respect for others staying at the same place.

Loved the history, layout, decor, and feel of the overall place! Spacious king bed, kitchen equipped for light meals, close to all of Girdwood and Alyeska Resort! Beautiful natural lighting when the sun was out. Hot tub great when other guests shared.

We booked three rooms in the Carriage House B&B and one of the cabins. All the beds and pillows were wonderful. The place rooms were all clean. The three rooms in the B&B shared a kitchen and TV room. All doors had individual locks for privacy. Breakfast was provided in the fridge!! Rachel and Jake live onsite and are very helpful and friendly. Not all of us used the hot tub but those that did loved it! All in all it is a place that I would return to and would definitely recommend.

Although it wasn't an issue for me personally, there was no cable tv; however there is Netflix.

Carriage House is conveniently located in Girdwood. The owners take care to make sure guest feel welcome and provide recommendations on things to do, local restaurants and events. The accommodations are comfortable, cozy and has a very "homey" feel, complete with a kitchen with condiments, coffee and all of the little things. They take great attention to detail to make sure guests feel comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there.

Just need a little more light in the bedroom. And a better shade to shut out the light. Otherwise it was perfect. Would go back in a minute. Nice sitting out area and hot tub.

What a place in the woods but close to everything. It was spectacular the inside was beautiful and everything you needed. Comfort and clean and all kinds of food and supplies. You must stay here very hard to book.

Insufficient common space for guests. self-service breakfast with what's in the fridge, with limited choice. We're asked to do our dishes but there is a $50.00 amount in addition to the room price for cleaning.

I won't recommend coach room. This room gets colder at nights and you can't adjust the thermostat beyond 70 F as mentioned in the room . Felt like dungeon room with no air circulation. We requested and got our heater and fan which is not sufficient for that room/ one person . By the time received our fan and heater the damage is already done . Felt sick and entire trip got spoiled with no other place to stay . Avoid coach room . Poor wifi connection in this room

Cold breakfast is provided which is not suitable for the Alaska weather . We skipped breakfast to avoid catching cold

They mislead people it looks like you have a private hot tub in the pictures. They should clearly state it is a COMMUNITY HOT TUB. SHARED WITH OTHERS. Their price is three times higher than the hotel with services! The coffee was COVID Bound since it had grounds with a glass jar and a scooper. Too cheap to even buy individual coffee! Even with COVID they are telling people to wash their own dishes! Do they know how many people just put them in the cupboard! If you are not internet savvy, stay away, they make you even set up the wireless! Horrible Stay!
