Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A weird smell was flowing through the vents. And the loud music from next door blaring through the thin walls.
Close to many food places and my work location for the weekend.

Appeared to be still in renovation. Men working and loud late at night and early morning in rooms very close to mine. No place to put suitcase, no cups/glasses. Gaps in the window shade around the sides with no curtains or anything to block bright light shining in around sides of shade. The building itself was a little difficult to get to from the road.
Clean, freshly renovated. Comfortable bed.

No coat rack to have your clothes? Easy fix, no phone in room to call front desk and was not educated on how to reach anyone. No Trash can in Bathroom and no chair in room?

very cheap bed if you can call it that. i don’t know if it still under construction or what? the bathroom was horrible though the tubs was stained and had grime and water mineral build up and the knobs had it too it was just bad.
It looks very nice on the outside and most of the interior was nice too.

The windows only have pull down blinds and no curtains. There is a crack all the way down between the blind and wall that you can see in. No privacy.

I booked this stay for on the booking app for four days for my daughters out of state tournament. I had no contact with anyone other than a conformation and pin number sent to me for my stay. I drove for 9 hours to check in with two teenagers to be told by the front desk that they had canceled my booking because they had overbooked there rooms online. Which I had to contact Booking customer service about because on the app the didn't cancel the reservation and the cancelation charge was $71.00. The parking lot was was mostly vacant and I asked him at what point was my reservation canceled because nothing was communicated at any point. The clerk at the desk basically laughed at me as I'm trying to figure out what to do with two teenagers and no where to stay and said either way there isn't a vacancy. Well there wasn't a vacancy and any hotel I stopped buy. Thankfully there was a nice state park to park at for the weekend. We come here once a year during tournament season but I'll know better next time and check Air B&B.
I would have loved to have something to write here honestly. Worst weekend I have had in a long time.

And then the hotel he sent me to it was crack heads everywhere I mean people walking the parking lot all night cars loud music just awful
I booked here they sent me up the street to comfort hotel that was unacceptable and so unreal I booked here but you send me up the street so disrespectful like he didn’t want black people in his hotel he was stand off ish I couldn’t understand him it was just wrong

I left the room a day early try to return to get my credit. They will not call the Manger and Will not give you your money back if you leave early BAD business so for booking I would like a 1 day refund at your earlier convince

Roaches in the room (little baby) so the family close. Meth head trying to fight you, and also call you derogatory words, not a safe place for your family. Staff selectively accommodate depend on your skin color. Happy travel skip this one please enjoy yourself.
