The Smoke Detector had been removed. It was a little too tight, too little room to move in. The air conditioner was noisy I could hear the man next door snoring

Very mismatched, the room looked like they just put random pieces of furniture and items to fill the room. - no amenities including ice machine - hours were very limited so was unable to pay cash for deposit due to them not opening until 8am and needed to leave way before that - I moved the couch over and found food fragments and dirt on the floor so they do not move furniture when cleaning All in all, it was just very ghetto and was overpriced for what I got.

The bed was comfortable The jacuzzi tub was outdated but did the job Netflix was cool

No staff til 3pm so there's no early check-in but once she got there very professional and lovely.

I liked the jet spa tub and the 2 bedroom Lil apartment we got. I would love to bring my grandkids back. Very comfortable and friendly even if looks aren't the best when you first get there. Give it a chance we had a blast.

My room was a bit small, the TV remote didn't work well(I had trouble changing the channels), pretty noisy- the walls are so thin, I could hear the people in the next room talking and a lot of door slamming, and the room smelled a little musty or mildewy.

Staff was nice, working and quiet heat/ac unit, good location, working microwave and mini fridge, easy parking, clean.

Shower tub was a bit high.

Clinic California Mediterranean revival style and a very efficient plan and facilities. Beds were nice and comfortable. Neat little patio open to the air at rear.

Could not communicate at all with the morning property manager, since her reactions were snub to everything and the standard response to almost everything was "it's a no work". Not even water was provided in the room and I was asked to get it myself from a nearby grocery store.

The location is the biggest plus point here, with access to beach, groceries, restaurants, amtrak station and more. We had originally planned to stay in Calabasas and ended up booking this last minute due to hurricane hilary and it served it's purpose as a safe place.

Of the 5 electrical outlets, not one recharged my phone. I even bought a new charger, but still couldn't charge the phone. So, i turned off the phone to preserve what little time was left, in case of an emergency. No phone in the room. The bed was too soft (for me), and one side of the bed sagged. I couldn't sleep on my right side, 'cause I thought I'd roll off the bed.

Bathroom was good, although the mirror was placed oddly. Not over the sink, but one the side. It was hard to put make-up on.

would be nice if the dog area was cleared of trash that seems to drift in from the street would also be helpful if the pet clean up bags were replenished

Ok. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A WORKING ICE MACHINE! Travelers need their ice! The office did provide ice from behind the counter but not on the 2nd morning. An easy run to the store down the street would have been an easy solution (and, finally someone did just that); put some hooks behind the bathroom door so folks can hang their robes/toiletry bags; sweep the private patio...there was a cigarette butt laying there; I did not care for the toilet and tub being in the same area, but realize that can't be helped. Very disappointed that the staff were NOT FRIENDLY on days 2 and 3 of my stay. Downright surly, in fact. Not helpful regarding the ice situation. Perhaps because it's a small place they felt rushed and were "wearing several hats": front desk, cleaning rooms, doing breakfast, I don't know but I expect "service with a smile" when I'm paying my money! Donna was great on Day One (Sunday) and so was Dario who was very helpful and respectful. Finally, on my last day....MY CREDIT CARD WAS NOT REVERSED FOR THE $150 DEPOSIT I HAD TO PUT DOWN UPON CHECKING IN. I had been told that I would "get it back" upon check out and that did not happen. In fact, 3 days later I am still waiting for the charges to be reversed. Not cool.

There were quite a few things I liked. The room had windows in the bathroom and main room that opened for fresh air; nice mini fridge; comfy bed and pillows; quiet AC; plenty of outlets (and close to the bed); cute shelves for storage; good breakfast choices; outdoor seating; private patio area (but missing table and chairs in Room 19 which Dario promptly corrected!); automatic bathroom light upon entering; automatic outside light when it was dark; plenty of light switches; mirror in main room and bathroom. Last, but not least, LOVED THE SOUND OF THE TRAIN WHISTLES! Overall, a charming vibe with beautiful flora around the property

Front desk didn’t speak English. Couldn’t answer any of our questions. Got there at 2:15 for check in. They said our room wasn’t ready yet, so we sat till 3 and was taken to our room. We watched they never touched that room. Breakfast was the smallest Continental breakfast I’ve ever seen. In a.m. police were everywhere there, something about a tenant, kinda unnerving. Much farther to beach than led to believe. 1/2 hour walk. Many TV wires were hanging down the wall, come on you can do better than that

Both beds were extremely uncomfortable. Two nights of no sleep was not fun. Parking wasn’t comfortable for larger vehicles. No one answers the phone in the office at any time.

No shelf space in bathroom. Parking lot is a little tight and a lot of cars park along the street so visibility exiting the lot isn't great.

Staff were very nice. Room was very clean. Nicely stocked with decent sized mini fridge. Like 5 minute drive to beach. Large room. This is an older property and some furnishings are pretty dated (if that's important to you, it's not to me) but they are updating, we got a brand new mattress our 2nd day there, as did lots of other rooms and saw new furniture going into other rooms too.
