Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Canadathe location was great.as it is very close to the beach. the room i found a bit pricy but comparable to other hotels in the area, one thing that was not to my liking was that there was no coffee machine in the room to get that first boost while getting ready to go out for the day. all in all the stay was good.

Great location and the staff is really friendly. The pool area is nice and quiet with a beautiful view on Diamond Head.

United KingdomThey didn’t have a coffee maker in the bedroom like other hotels do. We needed to ask for one. Also no toothpaste in the bathroom. Just wondering why hotels in the US don’t include toothpastes in their bathrooms anymore. It makes no sense as it is a necessity and sometimes travellers don’t bring bathroom essentials with them assuming that hotels will provide.
I liked that Queen Kapiolani was so close (around 3 minute walk) to the beach and shops and restaurants. I loved the lobby.. it was just so Hawaiian. I also liked where the pool was situated. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We were given canned drinks and shelled lays. Plus a box of Honolulu Cookie Company cookies since it was my birthday. That was very thoughtful of them.

GermanyAircon in the first room too loud to run at night.
Great location and very helpful personnel. I loved the complimentary water bottles, filtered water, beach towels and chairs. Rooms were a little dated but well equipped. Beds were excellent, not too soft! We had a room change due to termites in our first room halfway during the stay. Was super well handled by the personnel. Overall good value for Waikiki, but of course everything there is overpriced so not comparable with hotels of similar price range on the mainland.

North MacedoniaThe original room that we booked, had no privacy at all, looking at a restaurant at opposite building just 5meters away, like you are in the restaurant with your bed... very disappointing, as there is no picture of that view online. The reception could not move us to another room I guess due to availability, so we had to upgrade our room by paying more... There was no initiative from there side to give us a solution to our problem... very passive. Very small, under average swimming pool, but we were not there for the pool. Except that, everything else was fine.
Great location, close to the beach, free parking around just 5min walk, amazing coffee in the bar, and upgraded room was great. The restaurant was great & polite and friendly stuff around the hotel. There are sunchairs and beachtowels to take, but the sunbeds are limited as first come fist served rule, so be sure to get early. Water dispenser at the lobby to fill your water. The give you great plastic bottles for it which are great.

Location, on Kapahulu next to the park and zoo. And by the beach. Great facilities; great staff. Resort fee does include a lot of helpful items for tourists, like beach chairs and towels. Coffee shop on site. Nice decor and we were given a better room.

RussiaIt's not a fancy hotel but very good for what it is. Clean, provide beach chairs and towels, ice and water and even bottles to fill up. The location is great. Other reviews say it was noisy but I asked for the upper floor and it was very quiet there. Next time I'm going to stay again.

HungaryWe stayed here in 4 different rooms as we returned here 3 times within a trip. Once we were woken up by maintenance drilling on 9th floor city view room so I asked for a higher floor room. 15th floor is already calm , no noise from the street , but the hostel next to the hotel is still noisy. Earplugs can help in sleeping. Don’t accept room on 9th floor overlooking the pool . There is a strange and huge noise coming from within the hotel (airco, ventilation , etc I don’t know ) it’s loud like hell and repeats ever 10 seconds ! Our experience from room 914. 15th floor and 18th floor city view room is much better . Double queen rooms are not really proper for 4 adults , not even 2 adults, 2 kids, beds are too little :/ but still ok if your child is calm :) room is too small to accommodate 3 big suitcases but you don’t have shelves to place your clothes on them either . Max pax is 2 , I think . Price is great if you go 4 persons but in fact it is not comfortable for 4 persons :)
Location is good , price is quite good. Atmosphere of the 60ies is great . The Deck view and food is great! Don’t forget to prebook it is always crowded.

United States of AmericaI didn't realize it was a dog hotel. If we had known we wouldn't have booked simply because my son has allergies. However, our room and the hotel was totally clean. I never would've imagined that dogs had stayed there. Also there is a hostel with a roof top bar on one side of the hotel that is VERY noisy at night. Luckily we always travel with earplugs. The poolside bar and restaurant is very beautiful and nice to visit, but we didn't have a great food experience.
Loved the location. It was within easy walking distance to the beach, even if you are carrying chairs and boogie boards, which the hotel furnished as well as beach towels. And there are two ABC convenience stores close by in case you need anything. We literally walked up from the beach to grab some snorkels really fast while our teen kids were still hanging at the beach. This hotel has GREAT amenities and is beautiful.
