Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaSomeone turned the fridge to not cold before we got our room. This was not an issue, but if we wanted drinks from there, they would not have been cold. I am only saying this because yall asked lol. Other than that, zero issues. Great place to stay, great environment.
The sense that you felt that you were not in College Station. It did give the feel of being in a small camping area back in the 1940's or 1950's. The trees were great, the style of architecture and the use of older styled furniture was amazing. It was perfect.

United States of AmericaThe weather was so hot the week we visited that we really did intend to utilize the pool a few afternoons. However, the pool area is really not very large and there are just a few lounge chairs. The day my daughter and I decided to go to the pool, I went to the front desk first to mention that the only chairs available were the cabanas. The staff person said we could sit there until someone asked us to leave...and that we had to spend at least $40 at the restaurant. It was fine...because we did plan to eat, and naturally that would cost more than $40...but we were week long guests and had already spent lots and lots at the restaurant, had been kept away from the pool area by the other groups, and would have no intention of being shooed away from our seats if someone else came along. Which then reminded me that the day before, a drunk lady (from the pool area) came into the restaurant (twice) and while she was having fun talking with her friends at the bar, tossed her drink fruit over her head in the direction of people sitting at the tables (my daughter and I for example). Now. I love to have fun too. But I did not like the idea that fruit-slinging drunk people dominated the pool area and that my daughter and I would be monitored based on our lunch tab.
The atmosphere was fun

United States of AmericaRoom was a bit warm. Sliding bathroom door did not work well. We could open/close with a lot of strength but some guests would not have been able to move it. Pool area closed too early for mid summer.

United States of AmericaThe room was pretty hot. Not sure why as we turned the A/C temp down before bed but the system would not come down to temp so it was a little uncomfortable in that respect and usually that would be enough to warrant us giving a bad review (who wants to be hot and sweaty all night?) but everything else was perfect so we would definitely stay again.
The room was beautiful. The aesthetic was very pleasing. The toiletries in the room were great, the stocked fridge and snacks were nice to have access to. Parking was pretty reasonable in relation to distance to our room. We didn’t encounter many staff beyond reception but she was lovely.
