From the moment you enter the Chamberlin Inn, you will feel like you have stepped into someone's welcoming home. Bill, the general manager, and Elizabeth, the bartender, greet you with the most sincere smiles and attitudes that I have seen in years. I travel a lot for work, and there are few places where I have seen this level of hospitality. As someone who despises staying in boring hotel rooms that all look the same, this place is a gem. I enjoyed my time here so much that I booked an additional night on my return trip through Cody.

I didn’t really like the fact that it didn’t have any breakfast and the only option for dinner was pizza. It would be great if it had a few healthy options which are hard to find anywhere in Cody.

Loved the beautiful garden, loved the style and the soul of the place. Staff were great, Rose from the bar was super nice, helpful and friendly. Great stay!

Towels and tub access. A little something to start your day would have been nice.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and rooms were cozy. Had no expectations when we booked and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was amazing. And the cocktail lounge has great specialty drinks!

This is just a suggestion. In the separate apartment (#40), I would add a set of hooks in the bathroom to hang more stuff, especially if staying multiple days. Also on the front door of #40, need to find better solution for privacy other than drapes that cover/block when entering/exiting.

The staff made us feel right at home from the minute we entered the door. Gave us a little history about the place which was an added touch. Such a quaint, beautiful place! Wish there were more like it but then that would take away from its uniqueness. Would recommend to anyone traveling in that area! Loved it!

The new expresso machine! The directions did not address that the little cup needed to be placed on it's side!

The time there was charming. Wednesday nights during the summer feature live music and a concession stand with a light supper choice. Summers in the West are treasured times and this allowed us all to experience it.

Rooms not cleaned everyday now that covid restrictions lifted. We had an adjoining room next to ours not in use but had no lock so anyone could actually enter our room.

Small pokey room with no window except in the bathroom! Not value for money. Cocktail ‘mixologist’ was appallingly offhand and rude,fire her!

Our room was next to the bar! It was so loud you could hear every word! And we needed to get up early the next morning. So we only got a few hours sleep. The bed was not comfortable. The bath tub was the size of a wash tub. Seriously I am short and had to sit with my legs bent. And there was only bath essentials enough for 1 person. And they were the same as a much less expensive hotel I had stayed in before. The nice box of chocolates pictured was not what you got. They could have put us in lots of empty rooms but put us in the one right by the bar. And you could hear every time the next room flushed the toilet or anyone climbed the stairs. The bed lines were not even as nice as the ones I have at home and they were definitely not silk. Such a waste of $400! I do not recommend this hotel! And will not make the same mistake again.

There were LOADS of open rooms upstairs and downstairs (doors were left open if the room was empty). We were assigned one upstairs and there was no elevator or any offer of assistance to get bags upstairs (ages: 76 and 66). To get ice, had to go to ask at the bar. Bartender was asked “How are you?,” to which she said…”Well, I’m here.” Then the hair dryer didn’t work. I let the management know after I came to check out, the response given was, “We can bring you another one.” No apology or acknowledgement. And, I was checking out! Didn’t know how to reach anyone with the old fashioned phone while trying to dry my hair. Summary, the price isn’t worth it if you want basic modern comforts. Staff doesn’t seem very happy to be working there.

The location was good for walking to dinner.

The room was very small & bathroom, especially the shower, good thing we are small people. And wall unit for a/c , made noise when it ran, so we slept with the window open, and no screen on window.

Outside garden & had a bar and entertainment. Housekeeping staff was excellent, when I asked for towels , she was happy to bring them to us.
