We could not get the WIFI to work with our cell phone. Several attempts were made to connect. We have never had this to happen at any other hotel or cottage rentals. The TV reception was cutting in and out. We do not know if this was a cable issue or was tied to the WIFI problem.

The server for breakfast was not attentive as night time staff.

The staff on the night of arrival were extremely helpful. The bartender was an excellent server for both food & drink. The morning staff were ok, but not as attentive as as night time staff.

The person who checked us in originally gave us a room without a balcony which we opted for in our reservation, so we went right back to the front desk to rectify the issue and there was nobody at the desk. After waiting for roughly ten minutes and looking for someone I called the main number for the hotel and the same person who gave us the wrong room appeared from a back room and answered the phone. I explained the issue and she gave us the correct room. The only other thing that disappointed us was no shuttle to downtown Charleston. We did see one parked outside but were told that it was for the Marriott next door and one isn't offered for Hilton customers.

The lobby area was a little disappointing. Considering the location I would expect a more scenic view of the harbor. Instead, it was crowded and noisy, especially in the morning.

Our room was very nice with a fabulous view of the harbor. We ended up spending some nights sitting on our balcony instead of going out because we couldn't find any views that beat what we had right outside our room! The screen door was a very welcome surprise.

Was not informed that we had to ask for the room to be serviced and was supprised that it was not. Talked to the front desk and they did ask if we wanted it to be services and we declined (should not have to ask as its normal expections). Were offed fresh towles. The part i disliked the most was having to go down and ask for coffee each morning (my choice). i beleive the computer system needs some upgrading, each time we went to the front dest the CSM was jumping from one terminial to another trying to assist the customer. This led to long wait times to be assisted. Keep hearing the system is not working or its being slow. in the pantry it would be nice if they posted prices. I relize its hotel prices but this would help deciding if we wanted to purchase anything. However the front staff werre very nice. A PLUS for anyone is the free parking, which is on reason we choose this hotel.

Our room had a nice view of the water just enough that we did not have to pay extra.

It was mostly clean . A lot of noise late on weekends . I guess to be expected . Sounded like someone was sick in the hallway throwing up . Was disappointed no room service didn’t know u had to request it and no one told me until I had to call down for a replacement blanket cause of a stain from Previous guest . And they took a whole day and had to call down again for it . And room smelt musty .

Nothing fancy , no breakfast included for a high price for the room . The bartender was rude and in the wrong job. Lack of staff , had to go downstairs myself to even get my own extra towels. The bed keg was not screwed in which caused my sister to fall off of the bed .

The location of the hotel itself was difficult/confusing to access due to the street layout of Charleston--we had to cross the bridge on US 17 & make a U-turn to reach the street where the hotel was located! No grab bars in shower. Older folks need these due to balance issues.

one problem was I booked two rooms with breakfast included and when I went to get breakfast for myself and room partmer, they would only give me one because thecheck in person only put one on the brekfast pass when she asked how many would be in tne roon was 2. So I ended up paying for the second breakfast. I though the marketing materials said that it was ok for 4 people. AAlso the rooms were overpriced for a one night stay. You had to check in at 4:00pm and out by 11:00 am the next morning. 19 hours for almosr $400 that is too much.
