I can’t really find any flaws here.

This hotel was awesome! It was pristine clean, the host was super energetic, nice, and helpful. They provided muffins and coffee for everyone at no cost. They have a communal fridge in case you’d like to store your food. We went there right before our hike to Yosemite. At first we were skeptical since we didn’t know what kind of town or hotel this could be but the town was super lively and friendly (nothing to be scared of) and the hotel was the best Victorian style comfortable big tall bed beautiful designed bathroom we have experienced so far (your own). I would definitely recommend. There is a beer garden set-up at the back and parking was extremely easy.

I would have eaten at the Charlotte Tavern if I had seen the dinner specials posted earlier in the evening.

The Owner Finn was a delight to encounter, likely the most hospitable Hotelier I have met. Cute and quaint building, great cocktails and staff.

I’ve now stayed at Hotel Charlotte multiple times and it is one of the best places to stay outside of Yosemite. The hotel has a lot of character and the staff is outright amazing.

From the moment we arrived, the friendly and helpful host made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond, offering fantastic tips on exploring the area and Yosemite National Park. The room itself was sparkling clean and very comfortable. A perfect retreat after a day of adventuring. The location couldn't have been better. Situated in a charming mountain village, Hotel Charlotte is close to excellent restaurants and has easy access to Yosemite via a good road. In the mornings, we enjoyed the delicious spread of complimentary muffins, fruits, tea, and coffee - a perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring.

The staff was great! We ate in the restaurant, it was awesome. Our server was very helpful and friendly and the food was good. There was a two piece jazz band playing that added a nice atmosphere.

Hotel had a rustic old style saloon feel on the outside but inside was super clean, comfortable and charming. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Tavern and cafe /restaurant inside had great food snd drinks. Coffee, tea , muffins , donuts , fruit etc provided for guests in the mornings is a nice touch. Overall a wonderful experience

Room a bit small but this is an historic hotel built when rooms were smaller. Definitely wouldn't want the historic character of the hotel altered.

Owners very helpful and welcoming; facilities clean as a whistle; lobby seating area feels like a family living room; location great in heart of Groveland and walking distance to restaurants. Bathrooms refurbished and elegant. Room was pleasantly quiet given the hotel was full, we didn't hear any sounds overnight. Games and refrigerator available for guest use. Help-yourself muffins, donuts, coffee and tea in morning is a nice way to start the day. Great value over all. Perfect stop on the way to Yosemite.

Rarely do I take the time to review properties but we loved Hotel Charlotte! The owners were so kind, helpful and welcoming. A lovely, historic, and genuine hotel. Close to Yosemite and Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. Thoroughly enjoyed drinks over at the Iron Door Saloon talking to locals too. Excellent value for money!
