The room smelled off when we entered, and the bathroom fan needs to be cleaned.

Lots of room and the full kitchen were the best, parking was a huge bonus and the location was good.

While very clean, the apartment is furnished as cheaply as possible, with no interior designer having set eyes on the place. Nothing on the beige walls, bad lighting, flimsy furniture, cheap mismatched towels, and hangers that barely hold a coat. >>>Notable exceptions are the high end kitchen and bath appliances and the very comfortable mattress and bedding.

Location, parking, the size and layout of the unit, and the helpfulness of the property management are all reasons to stay here if you are a solo traveler or a couple. The building exterior is stunning, as is the lobby.

The beds were the worse , from the liens mattress’s,also the bathroom downstairs the shower curtain had holes in it,and the shower head didn’t work properly water was spraying everywhere and all of the supplies such as hand soap, paper towels were all half used by previous guest

The location is close to everything and the building is fairly decent we stayed in the penthouse with a city view.

it was not apparent to me that this was not a hotel until after I made my nonrefundable reservation. it is vital to me that I support the hospitality industry, and I would not have stayed here had I realized that this was not a hotel. in addition, I was told that I needed to take out the trash and strip the bed. this is, of course, no big deal, but others might want to know upfront.

Check in was HORRIBLE. I had difficulty finding a place to park to check in. Found a spot 3 blocks away, hauled my luggage there only to be told by the desk clerk that she had nothing to do with my reservation and I should call my "contact person". I called the # given in the reservation. Got recording saying "I am here until 5:30pm (it was 3:50pm). The recording gave a second # which I called and got another recording. I left urgent messages at both numbers, waited for a few minutes, then hauled all of my luggage back to the car. As I sat in the car trying to figure out what to do, I got a call back from Lorraine, who was in a meeting, said she was too busy to talk and asked that I call a 3rd number. I did, and reached Derrick and Michelle, the housekeepers for the property. They too were completely unaware that I had a reservation, but were both very kind and friendly. Because nobody was aware of my arrival, the apartment had not been cleaned. Derrick and Michelle did their best to clean it quickly, but Michelle was needing to use a walker, so the process was not rapid and the apartment did not get a total cleaning. One of the bathrooms still smelled of urine and despite Derrick's best effort to vacuum, there were still several tiny bits of sharp plastic pieces that made it unpleasant to go barefoot. When I tried to take a shower the next morning, Water exploded all over the bathroom. discovered a combination of causes: a couple of holes in the shower curtain liner, a tilted shower curtain rod that kept the curtain from staying in place, and two plumbing issues that allowed the water to squirt sideways from multiple locations other than the shower head. The doors in both closets were off the track and almost impossible to open and close. All of these problems were repaired within a few hours of my reporting them to Lorraine. The "Hollywood" style metal bed frames creak badly although the mattresses were memory foam and were comfy.

Check in was a disaster. Couldn't get the person to answer the phone to let us in. We got to the location around 630. We had to wait until 10 pm to finally get to put our things away and relax because the place had not been cleaned. The man used every excuse he could think of to push blame on someone else.

Derrick was wonderful meeting me to help with the parking situation and show me in. Bed squeaks terribly and there were no pillows, only two shams. I went and bought pillows with pillow cases.

Instructions on checkout weren't provided until I was ready to leave. I was surprised that I was asked to strip the bed and take out the trash and recycling while being charged an extra "cleaning fee." Some things the apartment lacked that might have helped - kleenex, dish soap, toaster, coffee maker. Oh - and a desk or somewhere to sit and do work inside the apartment.

The building and the room itself were nice. And the fitness center was above average.

As always and it’s not a negative aspect, you have to understand that there is not a daily cleaning.

Room size was excellent. The kitchen has the appliances for standard needs. 3-4 blocks from the convention center (less than 15 minutes walk) it’s a much better idea than a standard hotel room
