The mattresses definitely need an upgrade. I'm glad I didn't have to stay more than one night.

The restaurant was closed this visit for renovations now that there's new owners.

It is beachfront and the views from the balcony are spectacular. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is a little small but all in all we love it here, this is our 2nd visit and we will return. I like that there's a bathroom right in the lobby off of the beach. It makes it super easy to lay out and not have to run up to my room every time I have to go to the bathroom. The staff is super friendly and nice.

Because the restaurant was closed we had to find local diner for breakfast and it required a drive of 20 min + to find somewhere . Most diner establishments were in Morehead City not many local eating spots.

Great location , very quiet as hotel is currently refurbishing its restaurant and bar . A short easy walk to beach and comfortable beach chairs were available at no charge. Staff were exceptionally friendly , helpful and courteous.

We had to call and request that our room be cleaned and tidied during our stay. We had to request clean towels and washcloths. Found hair that had been left from previous guest all around the neck of our sink. Looked like someone had shaved and the hair was not cleaned from the neck of the sink.

When we returned at the end of the day, our room had not been serviced, and we didn't have fresh towels. They gave fresh towels when we asked. No problem, I may have misunderstood how multi-day room process. This is very minor, we plan on using this facility again in the future.

It's far from fast food places and of course the local restaurants are a bit pricey. The kitchen was closed, so breakfast wasn't an option at all. The bathroom was small and didn't have a tub, only a shower, so it may be inconvenient for families traveling with kids that require bathing in tubs. The fitness area was closed, but it was not a huge issue unless you planned on working out. I did run into a huge mistake on the hotels part. They accidentally issued my room out to another family on our 2nd day stay. They family was able to use the key and attempt to open the room door. It did unlock, but because I travel with small kids, I made sure to put the latch on, which is how they weren't able to physically step into the room. The family apologized, which wasn't their fault. I did call the front desk and let them know what happened, and they apologized as well. Mistakes happen, but at this day and age, that situation could've easily been a different unfortunate situation. Safety is definitely a huge priority of mine when traveling, especially with my children.

It was definitely oceanfront with an awesome view, very quiet and quaint, and also very clean. It is a great relaxing hotel for a peaceful getaway. The housekeeping lady with the Caribbean accent was really warm and welcoming. She was definitely my favorite staff member. You could tell she was passionate about her job.

The shower was kind of small. Hard to maneuver around the handicap bar. Water from the shower leaked all over the floor..huge mess when showering. Overall the room was amazing! Will definitely return!

It’s not a big deal but Wi-Fi is only in the lobby area. And we went on St Patrick’s day weekend so we were hoping the restaurant or bar might be open but it wasn’t.

The room smelled so strong of perfume and marijuana. The shower head was not screwed in all the way so water sprayed all over the bathroom. We were able to fix it. The in room coffee was horrid.

Can't beat the view,you feel like you are in the ocean. The hot tub was very nice and clean good atmosphere. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable.

The pillows on the bed are like rocks. I think we'll bring our own next time. The bed was comfy however. I wish the restaurant were open but it wasn't ready yet I guess.

We've been here many times and it is now under new ownership. The old name was Pine Knoll Shores Inn. The place has been repainted and freshened up. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open yet when we were there. All in all a very nice place to vacation whether a day or whatever.

Well the website said restaurant and bar neither were open was planning on going to the restaurant for dinner the website should tell you that these are closed when your looking at booking this hotel. Also the mattress on the bed is wore out could use a new mattress. Everything else was good just would like to know if the amenities they are closed during your stay.

I WASN'T TOO IMPRESSED WITH THE RESTAURANT, PLUS THEY WERE SHORT STAFFED, BUT THEY WERE VERY ATTENTIVE UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCE.

I was in room 714. The bathroom door had wood rot from where it had gotten wet. The he floor had rust on it from the door. That bathroom definitely needs attention.
