To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe room didn’t get warm. The bathroom floor kept getting soaked. They need higher shower pans to catch the water. The safe didn’t lock in the room, luckily I only stayed a night for the experience. Everything mentioned could be fixed so this could be a five star spot with sims quick fixes
Breakfast was very convenient. The overnight staff was very helpful. I would visit again for another overnight stay. The morning breakfast service ladies were very good I tipped them for their service.

United States of AmericaLocation was excellent, just opposite of Tropicana. Also walking distance to the beach and Boardwalk. Parking was the best service in here as we are in the middle of the city. They allowed us to leave our car even though we already had checked out. We roaming around the city by walking and came back to pick up the car later in the afternoon. Breakfast was good. Plenty of food: waffle, breads, eggs, sausage, juice, coffee and tea.

United States of AmericaThe room for me was extremely cold. Had to wait for the heat to fill the room. There's not a good installation of the widow, which made it harder for me to get warm. Other than that, my birthday was a happy and blissful one. Thank you. It was my first time out on my own trip.
It was very close to the broadwalk. I love that they had real breakfast and not just pastry. It was clean and neat. My room did not have a steal odor to ot, which was pleasant.

Breakfast was simple, but good. No bagels available, just bread to toast. But everything was good and there were enough selections that everyone could find something they liked.
