Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Directions to our room wasn't clear. Walking all over trying to find our room. No extra towels. Called front desk but they said it will be later when the towels will be delivered. Bathroom had no ventilation. TV turn on with black screen.
The beds were comfortable. Very quiet atmosphere.

The hallway and room had an unpleasant, musty stale odor. The parking lot and side entrance of the building were quite dark. The room, for the most part, was clean but had some deficiencies.
The location was convenient and close to the airport. The entrance and lobby were very nice and clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Communication was NOT Of the Essence. I LEFT an email NEARLY a Month before Arrival with NOT A SINGLE RESPONSE (Unheard of in My Lifetime Visit to All 50 States and a Well travelled Veteran) and after 2 Failed Calls; Finally a Phone Contact which, in my Opinion, was NOT Emphatetic or Truthful. I WAS informed Hotel was within a block walking Distance from Airport (WHERE Our Car would Be Ready for Pickup the NEXT Day):and it was MORE Than 12 City Blocks(UBER)!!! I am in My 60s.
I Couldn't UNDERSTAND Why So Many BAD REVIEWS?!! In My Experience, A Very COMFORTABLE STAY with Clean Linen, Clean Facility for the Most Part, Fair Breakfast, and Cordial Staff. My Bad Experience was Prior to Arrival. My Stay, ON THE OTHER HAND, WAS Satisfactory.

It was a little dated, and the carpet needs good cleaning. I know it wasn't their fault, but check-in took awhile, the computer system went down. One of the bedside lamps kept flickering. USB ports would've been great. Good thing I brought a wall plug.
I liked the fact that it was quiet and peaceful. There were no kids running up and down the halls. Other than the computer system going down, checking in and out was super easy. I would stay here again and the price was good.

More staff at busy times. Check in had a line. Housekeeping failed to leave wash cloths and I would have liked to have an extra hand towel. There was two of us and only one hand towel.

Toilet wouldnt fill up after a flush. Would run nonstop. Even though i loved the poolside doors the glass on them was filthy. The bed sheets had shreds and holes. And the deposit on the room takes too long to return to guests account.
The poolside doors out of the room. The bed was very comfortable. The room was private and the building was quiet.

The hallways smelt musty. The rooms were clean but need updating. Our bathroom was not fully cleaned, and toiletries were not replaced new for us. I understand there is a change over happening and this takes time.
The main entrance area was bright, clean, and inviting . Indian restaurant was very good. They were able to arrange a shuttle to the airport.
