Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI didn’t like that the view out our windows was horrible but there isn’t much they can do as the hotel is sandwiched between two buildings. I didn’t like that the hotel only had creamer packets. I bought coffee every morning at the coffee shop on the ground level of the arcade. When we arrived, there was food left on a table. That made me question how thoroughly they clean between guests.
I loved that our room opened onto the Arcade which is simply spectacular. I loved that the hotel is walking distance to many attractions.

KenyaThe hotel is very outdated. There is no microwave in the room. There was no drinking water in the fridge, it could cost me a whole 4usd if I used the drinking water in the fridge. At night, the there were noises and the bed seemed to tremor. The view was not good.
The location was close to the office I was going to. So I walked over to my appointment. That was super convenient

United KingdomThe room was reasonably clean, but in my opinion some details in the bathroom could be cleaned a little bit better -dust from the vent etc. However it is small detail and in general we were extremely happy with our stay.
The arcade is extraordinary. Staff and people in general in Cleveland are very polite and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty, great choice.

United States of AmericaFor this specific hotel to be so huge and also have so much history it was definitely lacking in facilities. Yes there is a 24/7 fitness center, a pizza shop (pizza was 5/10) and the hotel restaurant but besides that it’s 2 levels of empty storefront spaces with artwork in the windows. The stay would’ve been a lot more fun if there was a pool and actual businesses inside.
I liked the location of this hotel, the rooms are nice and spacious as well, modern and pretty clean. For this specific hotel to be so huge and also have so much history it was definitely lacking in facilities.

United States of AmericaThe hotel did not appear to be cleaned properly. When I first entered my hotel, there was trash left on the side of my bed. There was also used balled up wet wash towels in the tub.
I liked the location of the hotel. It was near the main attractions.

United States of AmericaThe pillows are feather pillows and hard when you lay on them. Bring your own if you like soft pillows! The room we got was a king room with a view, but the view was of the parking garage. Get room with the city view!
The Arcade is gorgeous!! The room was big, clean, and the bed was comfy!

United KingdomDue to the time of year, the hotel was exceptionally quiet, which gave it a strange feel. In truth, this applied to the whole of Cleveland. Assume it'll have a better feel in the Summer.
Once inside the hotel, you can really appreciate the beautiful building. Very unusual and great to see how it's been preserved and now used. The staff were all very friendly and helpful; made us feel welcome. The bedroom ticked all the boxes; not exceptional, however nothing to complain about. Overall, a pleasant 2 night stay.

United States of AmericaCons 1. Misleading Arcade Association: Although the hotel markets itself as part of the historic arcade - America’s first actual mall - the reality falls short of expectations. 2. Empty Shops in the Arcade: Contrary to what might be expected, about 75% of the shops in the arcade are unoccupied, leading to a somewhat desolate atmosphere. 3. Misrepresentation Post-Covid: The hotel attributes the emptiness to Covid-19, but investigations reveal that the decline in occupancy predates the pandemic. 4. Limited Shopping Experience: If you’re visiting with the intention of enjoying a vibrant shopping scene in the arcade, you might be disappointed as many shops are closed or non-existent. 5. Aesthetic Appeal Only: The arcade still retains its architectural beauty and heritage value, making it a good spot for photography enthusiasts or those interested in historical structures.
Pros 1. Clean Hotel: The Hyatt Regency Arcade in Cleveland maintains a high standard of cleanliness, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic stay. 2. Decent Location: Situated in a convenient spot, it offers easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. 3. Nice and Clean Rooms: The rooms, while not ultra-modern, strike a good balance between contemporary and classic, emphasizing cleanliness and comfort.

United KingdomThe Hotel has two entrances on different levels which is a little confusing especially as the lobby is on the 2nd floor. The 1890 Bar was only open until 10pm
The Hotel location is absolutely perfect for access to downtown with only a 5-minute walk from the convention center and 10 minutes to the waterfront

United States of AmericaA minor quibble: the historic character of the building doesn't carry over the rooms, which are fine but generic.
Comfortable, spacious room, in good condition. Great location, convenient to the Public Square and the rail line to the airport, with one of the main restaurant rows just across the street (there are also coffee and pizza places inside the building). The Arcade, a spectacular historic space, is actually part of the hotel.
