Noise in bedrooms on 4th and 5th floors very noisy. Hard to sleep. Expensive.

Very good location to town and nearby attractions. Good to have car park at the hotel. Nice old Victoria style hotel.

They shut off the AC in my room while I was showering my first morning apparently for scheduled maintenance and the temperature on the 4th floor was unbearable quickly. After leaving for the day and returning about 5pm it was still off and the staff moved me to an even nicer room with functioning AC for my final night and it was lovely!

Great location. Beautiful grand old hotel. Magnificent rooms and history. Beds are dreamy!

There were not many guests there so it would have been really nice of the hotel to upgrade us to a room with a fireplace.

Comfortable bed, nice people. Biscuits and gravy were excellent!

The overall condition of things in the room and around the property is getting pretty dilapidated. The curtains are frayed, there’s a paint crack around the vent, there’s trim missing around various places in the halls. From our room there’s a view of the lower story roof and a big section of the decorative railing is broken off. You can see many window ac units around. It’s neat that it’s an old hotel but it just deserves some attention.

The location and view are excellent! The room’s unique and antique furnishings and decor are very charming. The coffee and bath products are excellent. The bed is comfortable.

TV above fireplace was hard to watch as it is on side wall. I think having a kit where you could turn it towards chairs or bed would fix the issue.

Our 1st 2 times here, breakfast was included if we paid for valet parking. This time it was not. We just chose to eat somewhere else. Not a deal breaker.

We LOVE this hotel. At 150 years old, they have done an excellent job of keeping it up. This was our 3rd time staying here on our way to our ski condo. It is close to an old school arcade and within walking distance to many restaurants, live music, and entertainment. Any time we are in Manitou Springs, we will always choose this place 1st.

The hotel itself is marketed as historic, which it is, but the decor is a bit tired, not in a historic way - just in a needing to be updated way.

The location is absolutely lovely. You can walk out of the hotel and stroll around Manitou Springs with local shops and beautiful views. There were deer wandering around outside the hotel in the morning.
