I cannot truly think of a genuine reason to discredit this hotel. Our room may have been considered a tad on the modest size by some. It was not our intention to stay all day in it. Far from it! It served our needs perfectly well.

As a new visitor to New York, I took a pragmatic view as to the requirements for our choice of hotel. The location was excellent, positioned as it is, just a short walk from 5th Avenue and other key attractions to the city. The room size was more than acceptable for our needs; a place to unwind and rest after a day walking and seeing New York. It was comfortable, clean and quiet. Penn Station, was a short Uber ride away. Ideal for the Amtrak service to Washington DC. Other notable visitor sites require no more than comfortable walking shoes! We had a real sense and vibe to its location. Truly enjoyable.

For my stay this time at the hotel, the room when we stayed was near by the elevators. Because of that, sometimes there was noise late at night.

As always, one of the thing that I like the most from CQ is the location. Near from UN but also with a lot restaurants and amazing places to go.

Room service is on request. That isn’t necessary a problem but then it would be convenient if there would be spare rolls of toilet paper in the room.

We had no view at all despite being on the 16th floor. Using screens for check in and check out led to me getting muddled about details in a way I don’t think I would have if dealing directly with a person.

Based on what I found when researching hotel stays in central Manhattan, this hotel was superior to many - the room (a twin room) included a table with sofa seating around it. There’s a great communal lounge and balcony on the top floor with free coffee machine. There’s also a coffee maker in the room. There’s free cold filtered water dispensers on each floor. The staff were very helpful and a couple of times went beyond normal expectations. I also liked having housekeeping available on request rather than happening automatically. We would happily stay again.

We would like the hotel to offer room service such as food and drinks. But the rest was great.

We like everything! The location is exceptional, the hotel provides water bottles free of charge. We had some difficulties with the credit card, but the employees always very attentive helped us with everything.

everything felt a little old and whoever was working the late night shift on tuesday 4/30 was quite rude, didn’t look up from his youtube videos when I approached the desk, answered everything angrily, was not very nice :(

Air-conditioning would randomly switch to “heating mode”, also in the middle of the night. This woke me up a few times as the room turned into a sauna. The rooms are ok, but they look a bit tired and the mattress was ready for replacement. The place is ready for a renovation and some new furniture.

The location is great, very close to the grand central. Staff is friendly.

The room is not very big, considering the price. I am not sure if is good or bad, but you will need to let them know early in the morning if you want to have your room cleaned.

The location is very convenient, especially if it is your first time in NYC. The room was clean. You have a coffee machine available in the room and there is another one on the top floor of the hotel. The staff was very helpful.
