There was a bit of cigarettes smell . Also the check in process was a bit tedious and our original room was not ready until around 4:45pm, even tho check in it’s at 3pm. They also told us that they needed to charge an extra fee for booking our room through booking and not straight with them (even tho that was not mention anywhere). But since I explained to them the fact that it was not mentioned before our check in, they provided us with an upgrade (we still had to pay the extra fee tho) but at least the room was nicer and bigger.

All the area of the hotel are very well maintained and everything was very clean. Also there are water stations to re-charge your water bottles, and also bottles available if you need to take one. There is station downstairs with complementary coffee and tea. We got an upgrade and the room that we stayed in was very spacious and the bed was super comfortable

While units have small kitchens, they are not equipped with dishes, etc. Only paper cups are provided. Coffee bar in lobby is bare bones.

Beautiful view, ideal layout of the room where there was a separation between the sofa bed and the bed, coffee and drinks in the lobby, very comfortable beds, and fantastic toiletries!

Check in was 3 PM and we didn’t actually get into our rooms to close to 6 PM. I don’t know if there was a shortage with staff, but that was the only unpleasant thing about my stay. We traveled so far I would’ve liked for my room to be ready by 3 PM.

24/7 banging noise from the HVAC system, even when switched off. We were using earplugs so didn't affect us but could be a major problem for others. You definitely won't sleep with this noise if you don't have earplugs. Even in normal operation the system is too loud to sleep without something in your ears. No safe in the room. Would have preferred to have this rather than a microwave. Overall level of cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep is not great. There was wallpaper peeling away in the room and areas where large amounts of dust and debris had been allowed to build up. Weird nasty smell in the hallway on our floor. Room is not 33 square metres as advertised. Closer to 20.

Very good location for downtown and close to the subway to get to all uptown locations. Quiet and safe area. Rooftop bar is nice and has a small balcony to take your pictures from. Extremely comfortable beds. Chilled water in the hallways to bring back to the room. Free coffee in the room and in the lobby. Our twin room had a fridge and microwave which was unexpected. Our room was a superior twin with a window looking out the back of the building at the building next door. You need to specifically book a room with a view if that's what you want, and that will cost you. Lots of closet space. Clean bathroom. Plenty of towels in the room and they were replaced along with the bedding on the third day without us asking, which was nice. Check in is by kiosk/tablet and there is even a card writer to create your room keys for you. All automatic. Very friendly staff stored our luggage after checkout so we could explore some more on the last day before heading for our flight.

Really minor things like despite being at the hotel on time we had to wait a while for our room to be ready or a little fuss with an extra pillow or blanket.

Very quiet and great location next to the Wall Street with a breathtaking view at the WTC and 9/11 memorial. 24h access to both cofee/tea as well as bottled water on each floor. There are many restaurants around where you can have a good breakfast, lunch or dinner. Highly recommend this place!

I was extremely disappointed that my 3 pm check in was delayed until 340 pm . I front desk was borderline rude “ this is NYC “ 3 pm is when we start the process. This is not the norm in two other hotels I recently stayed in in the Rea.

The rooms are getting a bit old and soon need a makeover. We got a room that could also be used as a connecting room which wasn’t well isolated/sound proof (I.e easy to hear the neighbors).

Good location, clean, easy check-in, great lounge areas on ground & top floors, including outdoor space on the top floor (20th floor). Free coffee and water, including bottles. Very Good size of the room and we even had a small private balcony.

location to subway is excellent , withing 5 mins. Bed is one of the best, was very suspriced how good compared to some 5 star hotels. Gym is small but fine as all equipment works. Having easy access to water free is super comfort within every floor and gym.

Your internet connection and streaming ability are some of the major reasons I chose your hotel. The internet was off low quality, and because of it I was unable to connect to the TV and your IT crew were helpless!!!!! They couldn't figure it out after so many attempts!!!!

We arrived and they didnt have a room for us as booking.com over booked. This wasnt the hotels fault however we couldve been given prior notice via email, phonecall or even at check in. We only realised when we got to the room and went back down to reception. We had to squeeze 3 adults into a standard double room with a fold out bed also, after speaking with the manager Sheath, (who dealt with it briliantly considering it was not his fault and he had limited options), he agreed that he would give me a 50% refund on night 1. Night 1 was on 9th march and as off the 2nd of april I have not recieved the refund. We were also charged $100 deposit which i understand is standard however what I also understand is standard is that this s refunded as soon as you check out (barring any damages etc). 4 weeks later I have still not received this refund either.
