United States of AmericaOnly two small issues: the eggs in the breakfast were just average. The heater in the room made a clicking noise when it was starting up.
If you are going to be in Janesville, this is a clean, comfortable place to stay on the river/ downtown. It is close to shopping/ bars/ restaurants/ coffeeshops. It is also right on the river, so you have access to the riverwalk. The rooms are spacious; they have a mini fridge and a microwave. The coffee provided in the morning is especially good. Just a note that the weekdays they only serve breakfast until 9am. There is a pool and a fitness center, but I did not use either ( they looked nice though). There is also a full service restaurant on site.

United States of AmericaUpon returning to my room after being gone all day, I found the door unlocked & open due to a deployed dead bolt that housekeeping did not disengage after cleaning the room. My room was left open for at least 6-8 hours, if not more. I understand that things happen, but this is thoroughly unacceptable. It's just fortunate that I did not have valuables in the room and that all of the personal belongings appeared untouched. Also, during this same housekeeping, the garbage was not emptied and the coffee station was not cleaned/restocked. One other point of some dissatisfaction is that regarding breakfast, the coffee station is located out in the hall, rather than in the breakfast room with the food. Just kind of inconvenient.
In general, Cobblestone was very good and I would recommend it. For the most part, it exceeded my expectations and was a very good value.

United States of AmericaThe indoor pool was very small and there was no hottub for adults to enjoy. I was very disappointed in this. The complimentary breakfast was very small and constantly running out of food. For such a beautiful downtown hotel I had higher expectations
The location was great right downtown right next to a beautiful park and the river was lit up so pretty at night. The deluxe suite exceeded my expectations with a full kitchen equipped with cooking utensils and anything you might need.

So that’s the answer? They have a dog? The pounding rattled the walls. When we were leaving Jim went to get a cart There was none Was told they only have 2 carts?
