There was an ice bucket in the room but no ice machine. One suggestion might be to offer an ice bucket at check in and let the guest know there are no ice machines on site, but if you want ice you can get it from the office.

it is 15 miles from Astoria but the drive was pretty and crossing the longest bridge in the country several times was actually interesting. There were no restaurants near by and the motel doesn’t have breakfast.

Was looking for motel… new to area. Driving slow. A woman and man were walking into motel. I believe relatives to the nice woman who worked in office. The woman was waving her arms in the air making gestures to me about signaling to turn in. Could see her mouthing something at me! Was making sure I was at the right place! Not very appealing to conduct oneself in this manner! If the lady in the office wasn’t so sweet and friendly, I may have left! Was a noise coming from refrigerator area, kept me awake most of night along with people next door

I’m a shower person and I enjoy good pressure and a good shower head and unfortunately for me it lacked this.

The location and price point. It was extremely clean, quiet and in a great location to take your 4x4 out on the beach to watch the sunset. The host was extremely friendly and kind to all my questions and request.

Though we kept turning down the heat, the room was too hot. Curious, why office staff were not wearing maskes in office, while the website and front door sign stated everyone needed to wear one. Called for no contact check-in, and was advised to come to office, though needed to wait for other patron to leave first... and while we were in office others arrived, and were not instructed to wait outside. Very inconsistent.

Permanently unmovable bedframe covers half of 2 electrical plugs, rendering them unusable. No easily-accessible power sockets or USB sockets on either side of the bed. Minimal soundproofing between rooms, can easily hear TV in adjacent room. Shower stall door didn't close all the way. Showerhead fixed instead of handheld; slow WiFi

Clean room and bathroom; window in bathroom for outside light; big comfortable king bed and sheets; infrared light on a timer knob in bathroom; easy check-in and check-out process; free parking outside and the area seemed safe; 7 minute drive to Long Beach; TV mount allowed for multi-directional movement for optimum viewing; in-room fridge.

things they can fix : shower pan was painted, paint peeling off, a little mold on shower handle Things they can't fix:: the location - view is of giant industrial tanks. Also can't help the building configuration - no windows really so it's a little claustrophobic. Thin walls - if guests are noisy you will know it. Would have been a better value if the price was ~$70. with tax, pet fee it was $153.00

the good: clean except shower needed help. We liked it enough to stay one more night. Ilwaco is great - quiet, the native plant garden next door is great, the EBB coffee house is a block away is exceptional Pet fee expensive: $25. but it was for both nights. (or as long as you stay). Hosts were very friendly and professional

The carpet needs to be scrubbed. I'm pretty sure that's why it smelled musty, almost moldy. Our socks were dirty from the carpet as well.

Everything else was great. The room looked clean. Sheets were crisp.

Reserved handicap room was physically visited by us one week prior to our stay as we left Peninsula and returned again at end of trip. For whatever reason it was given to someone else. ADDITIONALLY, because of room "change" we were awakened by loud talking tenants sitting at table located outside our open window PRIOR to 7am on Sunday morning. We had our windows open and were inundated with cigarette smoke.....
