The shower door didn't close/seal and so every shower resulted in puddles to clean up, and when I tried to preheat the oven, whatever had melted and burned in there at some point before I arrived smoked up the cabin terribly and I had to air the entire place out. Regardless, it was a very nice stay. I got exactly what I was looking for at a great price.

I wanted to not see people unless I chose to see them, and this was remote perfection. Everything was quiet and beautiful... even if it was raining for my entire stay! I loved having use of the hot tub even when it was cold or storming, and overall it was a really relaxing experience.

There were some housekeeping issues. Dirty dishes left by the previous guests, dirty microwave and some dusty ceiling fan blades.

We loved the secluded location and the wooded atmosphere. The hot tub was really nice after our hikes around Hocking Hills, as was the beautiful shower.

The wifi didnt work, the shower head needed to be cleaned with some vinegar because of the hard water, the cold was hot and hot was cold in shower. It was smaller than I was expecting but over all we had a great time!

It's 30mins from hocking hills an the place looked nothing like the pictures the beautiful wood walls are all painted now, but for a quick 2 day trip it did it's job. We stayed at the getaway cabin. Updated photos would have been nice.

Not a fan that a good handful of cars were pulling up to the house all throughout the day. Didn’t realize a “cabin in the woods” would be attached to a utility room.

I loved the dining area! Beds are comfortable. The backyard was nice as well.

I didn't like the drive to the cabin lots of gravel and rocks, coming in from the top u pass a very large junkyard. The shower was tricky switching from ice to lava in seconds while showering was not fun.

We had the best time! The hot tub was perfect! The cabin was extremely clean and cozy. They provided 2 towels and 2 dish towels so it's a good thing I brought extra. It's very secluded except for the other cabins. There was only one other cabin rented at the time we stayed so it was quite, I imagine it would get loud if they all were rented out. They are about 100 feet from each other.

There were a lot of cobwebs/spiderwebs and dust accumulated in some areas. The shower door would not close properly because it kept hitting the side wall of the shower and couldn't close properly. That led to not being able to shower comfortably because I was afraid to flood the bathroom. It looks like it's been that way awhile because the caulk and trim around the bottom of the shower is damaged and rotting away. The cabin definitely could be maintained a bit better.

The woodburning fireplace inside and whirlpool were very nice.

The hot water heater barely worked and we were able to get about 2 minutes worth of hot water in the shower. The kitchen sinks hot water pressure was pretty much non existent. Also, the cabins are nice, but the the quality of the craftsmanship is lacking a bit on the interior. There are gaps all throughout the trim work and also the floor and ceiling has multiple gaps along the edges, allowing bugs to find there way in pretty easily.

It was very secluded and private. Was able to see a good variety of wildlife right off the back deck. The cabin still had direct tv and WiFi along with the privacy so that made it nice.

No stove, the little cooking top stove was very dirty. No coffee, tea, sugar, shampoo, bath soap, hair dryer provided. Bathroom shower door didn't close. Towels weren't appealing, very aged. Front door didn't lock on the outside, could just push door open. It was a very nice cabin, but no extras to be found.

The setting was nice except the firepit area was a little too sloping.

When booking the property it did not say that each cabin was slightly different. We were upset to show up and see that there was no shower, only a bathtub, and not even in the bathroom, but in the bedroom!! This needs to be clearly stated before booking the room. After, we saw that on the personal website of the property each cabin had its own name and different features but that isn’t specified on booking.com. Also, we had to call the number to get the name of our cabin and the code to the door. This should be emailed out the day of so there is no confusion on how to unlock the cabin.
