Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe increased pet fees. It increased from $50 PER STAY to $50 PER NIGHT. This is a bit excessive and unfortunately probably will determine which hotel I stay at for future business meetings in Glenwood Springs.
I absolutely love your hotel and I use this hotel 4-5 times a year for business. Clean rooms, beautiful location.

United States of AmericaWe parked on the street in front of the hotel. Well not officially handicapped, we are older adults and could not possibly bring our luggage up all those stairs. We entered the handicapped entry and it was quite a long walk to the elevator. We were exhausted by the time we got to our room. I had already checked in and There didn't seem to be any other option – at least the person at the desk didn't mention anything. We found out that parking on the side street was right across from a short ramp that would have been much easier. We found that out by chance, not because any hotel staff Pointed us to it. Wanting a late dinner our first night, we went to the lovely dining room where I saw Cobb salad on the menu. This is a dish that I have had other places and I'm quite familiar with it. But I received was nothing like I expected from the menu. The menu description states hard boiled egg and bacon. There were probably three chips of bacon about the size of my little fingernail, and there was no hard boiled egg at all. When I asked the server about it he said it was meant to be a garnish and it was sprinkled on the top. What he was referring to was about two fists worth of greens surrounded by cucumber strips. There were also a couple of flakes of blue cheese. Completely disappointing. To be fair, our other meals in the dining room – both breakfast - were delicious and as described.

United States of AmericaThey do not offer bottled water or any sort of water for you to drink at night. You have to bring your own. I did not like that. I did not like the amount of dogs that were there too many dogs a little too much barking for me. Front desk was so so, nice but not cheerful and super. Super super welcoming like other places are.
We are on the fourth floor had a nice view the buildings nice and old and antique. Good location good for walking in town as well.

United States of AmericaNo fridge in room, but I knew that when I booked. They will bring one if you ask for it. Handicap access is only on one side of building and wouldn't you know it we parked on the OTHER side. I never saw a bellhop the entire time we were there. Doesn't mean they aren't there somewhere. But it's a historic property and there is no grand entrance you drive up to where there are uniformed personnel waiting to take your bags and park your car.

United KingdomRoom was large and very clean but cold - heater not operational even when we called maintenance late at night. Would not stay in this room again - but liked the look and feel of the hotel, even though our visit was cut short.
Staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful when we found out that we needed to leave after only 1 night due to bad weather and train cancellation! Provided good advice on alternative travel back to Denver and organised transport to the coach pick-up at very short notice.
