Very clean and tidy. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. Plenty of towels. Easy keyless entry. Located only a few blocks from the Columbia Heights Metro stop so it was easy to get around. Grocery store and restaurants are nearby.

This place was great if you like to do everything electronically. No contact. Very quick and easy. From arrival...you have the door code to the main entrance and another code for your unit. The apartment itself is huge! Has a huge living room and giant full sized kitchen. The bedrooms and an additional bathroom are located upstairs on another level which gives you a great sense of privacy which is hard to find in DC. Oh, it also has a giant outdoor space. I will certainly be back! Also, the Maintenace man is amazing. There in a matter of minutes when the internet had a brief outage. And the property manager...although not on site, she communicates via text basically 24/7. Smade sure everything i needed was taken care of within minutes! Great staff! Great Apartment!

The first thing we noticed when entering the apparent was dirty towels on the floor and an unmade bed. We informed the manager, and he offered to move us to another room for one night and then return to the original room. We didn't want to go back and forth, so we decided to stay in the same apartment. There was a clean bedroom on the second floor where we spent the night, disregarding the mess on the first floor. There are actually two bedrooms, not three. The third bed is placed right at the entrance of the apartment, which is probably meant to be a living room, but they added a bed to create extra sleeping space. I think it's impossible to sleep there because there is only a thin wall and a door separating it from the common corridor and the outside. Everything is very very old and cheap, from the toilet paper to the kitchenware. I be never seen such a hairdryer before, I think even Goodwill couldn’t take it for donation (see a pictures). I also suggest cleaning everything because we found mold in the coffee maker, which was disgusting. When the people next door moved in, it felt like they were living in our room. Every breath was audible. The manager initially offered us a discount for all these inconveniences, but apparently changed his mind later on. 🙂

The front door to the unit offers zero noise reduction to or from the main entrance. It is also the only room large enough to be a communal space. It was very hard to watch tv or play with the kids in that space without feeling like we were possibly disturbing others. Light switch in downstairs bathroom needs to be repaired.

The price is hard to beat for separate bedrooms in DC.
