Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Breakfast was very lame. Mostly packaged items with little fresh food or protein and basic Folgers style coffee. I'd rather pay less and not have breakfast versus calling that breakfast.

Clean. Friendly staff. Quiet and overall was better than my expectations. Economical but nice. Would definitely stay again. (my primary option was not available and I would recommend this place to budget-minded travelers and to last-minute planners (Us).

The advertisement of breakfast is, as always, underwhelming and disappointing. Makes it hard for me to stay there when SK across the highway tries very hard to offer a decent breakfast (there are few breakfast opportunities in Leadville). This place can do better!

Motel was very clean and staff was exceptional. Furnishing are very outdated. Breakfast very very limited cereal toast and a pastry. A good place for a single nights stay..

Terrible worn out back door (also for after hours use) takes three hands to open while you are moving luggage, key falls out when you open the door. No shelter over this door. I was shocked to discover no microwave in the room. Apparently none of the rooms have a microwave.

would’ve loved a hot tub and some of the pastries were expired.
Great location for skiing and a simple but very comfy room. the views were nice and the whole process was easy and quick.

I had heard that they had waffles as part of the breakfast but they didn’t but the breakfast was fine.
Location to where I was conducting my winter activities. Staff was friendly and provided good information about where to dine in town.

Heating/cooling system was dysfunctional. After one cycle of heat, the in-room unit incorrectly and automatically switched to air conditioning even though outside temperatures were below freezing.
Staff, location, room, bed, and bathroom/shower were all excellent.

It would be nice if there were a hot tub.
This is a great, easy to stay, old time hotel with no hassles if you need an affordable, no frills option near skiing. It’s clean, easy check in, and has a basic coffee and danish or cereal breakfast early so you can get to slopes early. Location is near entrance to Leadville downtown and supermarket.

Not having a microwave oven in the room was disappointing, but there was one in the lobby andbif you wanted hot water the staff was kind enough to allow access to breakfast nook for it. The other item would have been a hot tub.
For the price range the breakfast was adequate. Parking was easy to navigate and more than sufficient for Bubba trucks. Heater was quiet and kept the room comfortable. Proximity to a supermarket was great. Leadville is a rather compact town, restaurants were 5 to 10 mins away, if that.

I booked two rooms. I had to pay for them separately and was snapped at by the front desk service person for not knowing that the rooms were separate bookings, even though I booked them together. The continental breakfast consisted of a couple of cereal options, toast and coffee. It was okay but very limited.
I was looking for a location close to where we wanted to go skiing and Columbine was perfect for that. Rooms were clean and quiet.

Breakfast was continental, no microwave in room or coffee or hot water after breakfast hours. Extra blankets in the room would have been nice. We would stay here again.

Temperature was hard to regulate in the room. Breakfast did have coffee, but otherwise was very basic/prepackaged.

Our room was supposed to have a king bed, instead we had what might have been a queen, closer to a double. Breakfast should have included fruit options, bananas or apples at least.

Breakfast left something to be desired. Fortunately, the Safeway is right next door. The towels were also on the basic side, but not a big deal.
The furniture was nice in all areas of the hotel. The room was quiet and spacious. Good location on the north end of town. Great small Mexican restaurant nearby. Also, right next to the Safeway.
