carpets were stained around every turn, bedding was stained yellow where previous guests had slept, hallways smelled stale, and there were some very loud guests on our floor. I also let the front desk staff know I was going to be checking out late and would pay the $30 fee to check out late. Still received a call the next morning saying I was supposed to check out at 11 am even though I already told them I would be checking out later and would pay the fee. Then, after confirming a second time, and being charged a $32 fee, both of my keys were already locked out before my check out time and I couldn’t get in to get my things from my room at check out. When I told her, the front receptionist acted flustered and fixed the key, and then rudely told me it was past my checkout time AGAIN, not understanding. Clearly the staff doesn’t care to listen to their guests nor pass the information onto their coworkers so that confusion can be avoided. very condescending.

$75 deposit required that you are not told about if you arrive. only refundable after they check ur room later in the day. Room was dirty. Curtains appeared to have blood on them. Bathtub was dirty. Tv was too small to watch. couldn’t find anyone at front desk to complain to.

With this price point I did not mind the chippy paint, super tiny room, the towel bar being broken off with just the studs being left but things like the sink faucet that didn't have a good off to stop the water was frustrating, the electric outlets near the bed didn't work , walls are VERY paper-thin & no bed lights so you must get up and walk closer to the bathroom to turn the lights off in the room before you fall asleep. Last, it was irritating first thing in the morning or at the end of the night when you want to relax, that the remote did not work well even though I exchanged it. Front desk says they have this problem with every room and every TV.

I liked the automatic doors to get into the hotel and the friendly staff. They met my request with a room closest to the front door. I like that the rooms have both a microwave & a refrigerator. The location was perfect for Downtown Columbus with the conveniences of restaurants and stores close by.

My mattress bed by the window in room 158 is shot. Springs abound, comfort level 2. Told the front desk about the mattress and she looked at me like Yeah soo what! Next Rm 158 is next to Drunk drivers school every Saturday and Sunday. Well school starts at 8 a.m Saturday and you're getting up from the noise like it or not.Drunk school people playing cards in the room next to you till 1am being noisy. Hard getting to sleep. Again told front desk, nothing was done. I went in around 11pm Saturday night to tell them to be a little more quieter. Remote control to tv didn't work,had to get another. Came to the room Sunday afternoon to find my window was open. I didn't open it or leave it open. Last time here, this place has some real Slim Shaddy characters running around on weekends.

Side door is open 1st floor by ice machine. The lock is broke,told the on duty clerks 2x's nothing done. Anyone can walk in and stroll the hallways.Ask the clerk to fix the safe in my room. It was locked by previous visitor.Nothing was done, asked the clerk again she looked at me. In other words the room safes are locked and that's that. Sometimes whe I visit I carry a few bucks and like to use a safe,not this time.

The hotel is convenient ,clean and due to Covid hardly any services. I've been here many times but this wasn't my best visit. Breakfast even though is carry out it's good.

The front desk staff gave me 3 keys that didn’t work. I had to return to the front desk multiple times. The room was small and outdated.

The housekeeping staff was very pleasant. The location was optimal. The room was clean and the head of housekeeping made sure I was able to get in my room.

Two major things.. The fact that I had to get my key re done almost every day for 5 weeks. The consistent stench of marijuana, kept me from bringing my 2 daughters there..and that is not cool Some minor things... Desk and chair are very old and need to be resurfaced and or replaced...carpet was very old and needs to be steam cleaned..not just sanitized...

Location.. and the housekeeping and most of front of house was very..very helpful.

Hotel charged us $100 for a blanket that was never removed- I have no need to take bedding from a hotel. The Manager on duty was not reasonable, when I asked for a number to corporate she gave me the internal number of which I received no assistance.
