Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The only thing that I didn't like was the parking lot configuration. Minimal parking towards the front, but still within a short walking distance if the hotel is entirely booked, like the first night of our stay was. Which was not the fault of the hotel.
The breakfast had a very good variety. The room was clean and the staff was very accommodating when extra towels, wash cloths, and toilet paper was needed. If I return to the Williamsburg VA area, I will stay here again.

Nothing negative to say.
Comfort Suites was an excellent hotel. Its modern clean beds were very comfortable. Hotel has an amazing selection for the complimentary breakfast! Our kids loved the game room pool jacuzzi and fitness room. Would highly recommend!!!!

I picked the "pay at the property" option for my stay, but they tried to pull the money from my card on file THE DAY BEFORE MY STAY.......
This is my wife and my favorite place to stay when we're in Williamsburg. It's always clean, the staff is always friendly, the rooms are always nice, every amenity works, and the breakfast is always good.

The King suite is huge with a couch. We have stayed here before and it is wonderful. The location allows you to easily visit the area attractions like Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown Settlement, and Yorktown battle site or Revolutionary War Museum. The breakfast is very good. Plenty of parking.

The door between our rooms was sticky with something spilled on the floor and I stepped on an old M&M in our room.
Connivence to Williamsburg and Jamestown. We also enjoyed the hot tub. Breakfast was what we exsoected.

Breakfast was sparse. Hotel was very crowded and food was not replenished on timely manner. Very loud guests above us well after 11 at night.

The climate control in our room was tricky and it got too warm at night, which impacted our comfort.
Excellent value with helpful, organized and attentive staff. Extremely clean. Good room layout for a small family traveling together.

The hotel always smells/looks so clean. The front desk staff is always friendly and polite and answers any questions that are asked. It was nice knowing I had a nice relaxing room/pool to come back to after a day of shopping! This is the second time at this hotel and we will be staying there again!

My only issue this visit was the water temperature in the bathtub. I'm not sure if it was just my room or the entire floor, but the water temperature was barely lukewarm.
I have always enjoyed staying here..... I became a Choice Rewards member after my first visit. The staff is always pleasant, the place is always clean and the rooms are always cozy!

Super nice hotel, we was very impressed as soon as we walked in. Breakfast was way better than most hotel breakfast. We loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Room was super nice, clean and spacious!

They literally had everything I needed. My kids loved it ! Arcade topped it off too! I forgot snacks and dang if they didn’t have a whole snack bar too! Breakfast was amazing as well!

Breakfast ends too early.
My room was located at the right place as I requested.Pool was warm enough for the kids to enjoy, game room is small but does the job. They have nice seating areas too and walking distance to different restaurants is very convenient.

Great breakfast - well stocked, good variety, and even different waffle batters. The kids had a great time using the pool and hot tub, which seemed well maintained, with plenty of towels. The rooms were comfortable for a short weekend, and it was a very convenient location for us.
