Just a couple of things but no fault of the hotel! First was since I had no car during this trip so I Googled to find a hotel that had a shuttle service. My fault for not phoning or emailing to confirm this. They used to have one but no longer do. Not their fault as they said they haven’t been able to get it off of Google. But their lovely staff let me know about the bus service very close by which was easy to use and able to take me to and from the Metro subway. Also the first night I had a rowdy group in the room next to mine. But no fault of the hotel and I was impressed that they dealt with it as soon as they realised it was a problem.

Very clean, nice room, very nice staff working there!!, well presented breakfast area. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

I so wish hotel beds would be a bit more firm.

Location was great for us. We were there over a weekend and a school group was there also, so the breakfast was a tad crowded. The room was clean, bed a tad soft, but they always are.

Breakfast was ok, but there were limited options.

The facilty was clean, quiet and very accommodating. I traveled with a toddler and a baby, and I was able to get a crib at no extra cost. The entire staff was very friendly.

The view from my window wasn't the best because there was construction nearby. But this is a typical situation for Washington, D.C.

Considering the hotel's proximity to Washington, D.C., the room rates at all hotels in the area are inflated. However, the hotel's location is good - close to parking and the metro terminal. Therefore, getting to downtown is not difficult. There are many dining options nearby. The staff is friendly and ready to assist. The rooms are clean and spacious.

The refrigerator ran so loudly I needed earplugs to sleep.

There was a strong smell of marijuana in the elevators and the corridors. I don't like it but the smell even came into my room. That was disappointing. Also I think there are too many people in the breakfast area and it is hard to get a table at certain times. It would be good to have a notice at the time of check-in saying the times at which breakfast is less crowded or more crowded so people can plan what time to go downstairs

I like the staff at the front desk. They are very responsive and helpful The location is nice and easy to access. Parking is generally available and convenient

Location was convenient for going to the Shady Grove Metro Station. Breakfast had plenty of options. Hotel seemed to be owner operated...everything was clean, safe, and orderly. Much appreciated.

So many different blankets and pillows, it was hard to find a place to put them all to make space in the bed to sleep. It was warm so we only needed the sheet and 1 pillow each.

Good breakfast - eggs, sausage, waffles, breads, donuts, etc. The room smelled fresh.

The lot next to it is under construction, so you get woken up at 6 am by the sound of construction machinery. Of course, that is a temporary condition which will probably be over in a few months. The room they use for breakfast can't really handle the volume of guests that they have. People get in each other's way. One morning there were no tables left.

The room was comfortable and clean. It smelled nice, no weird odors or stale air. Everything worked. The gym is small but has decent equipment that isn't broken. Parking is very convenient. This hotel seemed very busy, which suggests that others see it as a good deal.

Our bathroom smelled like smoke. It seemed to be coming from the wallpaper.

The location was great with free parking and a huge free breakfast for their visitors. Our room was at the rear of the hotel away from the traffic so it was nice and quiet.
