United States of AmericaPeople with Dogs should have destinated elevator. Dog friendly rooms should not be rooms given to people without DOGS. The rooms need updating ASAP. Bathroom was awful. The doorknob in bathroom was broken and raggedy. The tub/shower area was uninviting. It looked as though there was a terrible fight in the tub area. Scuff marks everywhere from walls to ceiling.
All staff were friendly. Coffee station in lobby was clean and well stocked.

United States of AmericaBreakfast had a good variety including cereal, pancakes, yogurt, bagels, juices and sausage and eggs. From the looks of things, I suspect that the eggs were powdered and the sausage probably wasn't pork.
Great location on the beach with a large picture window overlooking the ocean. Great view with a small balcony. Chairs and a small table were provided. It was March so we only walked out on the balcony occasionally. The room had been remodeled and was very clean. Not the best workmanship when it came to finish work. Room doors and elevator doors were small. It had a nice large (43") tv with a better than average cable provider. Internet was easily obtained and good for surfing but very slow if you needed to download and impossible if download was large. Front desk personnel were very knowledgeable, friendly and personable. Rooms were cleaned daily.

United States of AmericaThe hotel could use some upgrading. They were repainting some of the floors, but the rooms were a bit dated. Other than that, everything else was great.
The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had a reservation with another hotel that ended up falling through (the other hotel upon booking claimed to be pet friendly but when I got there they said no pets). I had to immediately find another hotel. Comfort Inn was available with reasonable rates and the front office staff were so kind. They even upgraded us to oceanfront which I appreciated since I was with my son and he loved the water.

United States of AmericaWe had a "bay view" room, but beware , if you bring a pet you'll be on the 3rd floor which gives you a view of the parking lot. We ended up paying about $60 more a night to be on the ocean view side. It was beautiful but I wished their 3rd floor pet location was made clear on Booking.
