Shower was kinda weird to operate. Instead of little bottles for hair and body, might be more effective to have dispensers attached to wall of shower so people could use what they really need. IHG hotels use Dove dispensers of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Just a suggestion.

Enjoyed hot oats, bagels with strawberry cream cheese and good tasting coffee at breakfast. Bed was very comfortable. Liked having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Mary was friendly at evening check-in.

Took a little while to get help at the front desk, but staff was friendly.

Location to restaurants, grocery store, gas station and interstate is very convenient. Also, this was walkable to the end of the Slidell parade.

I wish that my curtains didn't have holes in them. I wish that the view was better. It was pretty dismal, but what could you possibly do about that. :). It would have been great if you had a bar.

We loved Remy. He is a gem. The hotel is a bit run down and needs some tlc, but it was very clean. Would totally stay there again. I wish you had a bar and restaurant.

I payed for 2 rooms in line and when we arrived the clerk not only charged me again not once but twice so I had an extra $1100 out and f my account money that was to be used for my trip. The money was finally returned after a week and the clerk stated you should always travel with extra money . I told her I did but you took it all due to her incompetence.

The water pressure was not good in my room and the hot water didn't get as hot as I would have liked.

The staff (front desk and housekeeping) was amazing! Every single person I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, and there were a variety of options. It's also close to other food spots. The gym was basic, but you could get a good workout in there (but there was no AC). The room was nice and clean and had everything I needed.

While the breakfast appeared to have many lovely offerings , between 8-9 am there was almost nothing still available. The staff seemed oblivious that there was no orange juice, eggs, bagels, or things other than waffles. Not sure if this was to keep people from eating much or that they ran out or just didn't replenish. Fresh fruit would have been really appreciated. Some people don't eat all the pre prepared cereals, bread , waffles etc and want something without sugar. THE INTERNET WAS TERRIBLE. Most of the time I couldn't stay connected even for a few minutes. I couldn't get my boarding pass with no internet or functioning printer.

Directions to the hotel were not great and the breakfast; not so much. I just don't like fake eggs with cheese.

The price was a little high. Also, all day and night, we heard the elevator. When you have to be up early in the AM, listening to it all night is very annoying.

The wi-fi was some of the worst I have ever experienced, including while traveling in third world countries. I don't like to complain but it was truly awful. I wasn't able to work effectively or to relax watching shows on my computer. Also, I had asked for a quiet room. My room was right next to the elevator, which meant that I could constantly hear its motor inside the wall behind my desk.

The staff were wonderful and my room was clean and comfortable.
