The parking is not sufficient on busy days. There is construction and unpaved areas around their lot. It’s a small thing but if get in late you end up parking a ways away. Also they only give two towels which is really not enough for two adults one of whom was a woman.

The room was great, the bed was large and very comfortable. The tv was excellent and everything worked well other than the in room phone which was nonfunctional.

The bed. Both my husband and I had a hard time sleeping on it. We both woke up with back pain. The toilet paper holder. We kept knocking the toilet paper off

The location isn't great as far as the surrounding buildings and neighborhood.

The front desk staff was excellent, very professional and competent. And the breakfast was much better than I expected. Earlier reviews mentioned no eggs, but indeed they had them. The property was clearly an older building but it has been nicely renovated and is well maintained.

Young kids in another room in our area were running in the hall at 7am being very loud. Probably excited about going skiing. Would be nice if there was a bit more sound insulation to keep the rooms quieter.

I had a bit of confusion with my reservation (went through Booking.com), and needed to cancel 1 room. Nicole (I believe that was her name) worked with me and Booking.com to get the cancellation completed with no issues. Very pleasant and professional.

Terry at the front desk was very pleasant & helpful despite the double shift she was working.. Breakfast included lots of options, but the food was cold. Room was comfortable but run down: 1 of 2 bulbs in desk lamp were out, hole in bathroom wall where doorknob went thru was unrepaired, and neither of 2 goose-necked reading lamps worked. Terry explained new management plans to renovate outside then inside.... (implied that the customers will just have to live with shabby inside for a while). My interpretation is that refresh will be accompanied by price increase, so it will no longer be affordable.

The doors were not easy to unlock, the Maintenace guy came to help by punching the door lock but every time I tried to open my door it was a struggle.

Staff was friendly and the pool was nice.

Layout is odd, parking is not great on weekends, card keys fail too often

Sound insulation is not so good; had to hear convos and TV of neighboring family. Parking is ample, but at one end of hotel only, so bit of a hike, no big deal though. Pricey for what it is, but everything around here is.

Serviceable hotel, clean room, excellent location between Castleton and Killington. Staff very kind. Stumbling distance to the superb selections of the Vermont Tap House.

We asked twice to clean the bathroom drain, but for some reason we did not receive this service. Perhaps it was simply impossible for technical reasons ☹️

The hotel is in a good location, clean, has indoor swimming pool , room has a refrigerator, microwave, and street parking. Quite spacious room. Cleaning upon request. Garbage can be taken out every day. Breakfast is good with a lot of choice.

Rooms are big and beds cozy. Quiet, you can hear the railroad in the background on the occasion it goes past, but I love it. Breakfasts good and the lady who greeted us on the desk was super friendly and chatty. Would certainly book again.
