Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I didn’t like the stomping from the neighbors on the floor when they would leave and the slamming doors. And there was a weird beeping noise in the room about 3:30 in the morning.

Harry and his team are first class people! They truly care about you and your stay being the best it can be. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast offers a nice selection that should meet most everyone's needs. This is the best hotel in White House, without question.

The location was perfect with access to many restaurants, Walmart and Kroger!! My room was cozy and clean! The breakfast was good and the coffee was great! I will definitely stay again!

The price was high. The Shampoo/Soap was cheap.
Very comfortable room. The bed was comfortable. Clean Room. It is a little bit overpriced for the area but overall a good place to stay.

Location right off/on the expressway! tons of choices/attractions in the area. The manager & staff were very nice & polite. the breakfast was excellent. we had a great stay!

The shower head pressure was weak. I had to turn the shower all the way to hot in order to get it to a satisfactory temperature. My husband does not like his as warm so it was ok for him but he also felt the shower pressure was too weak. The beds could use more pillows as they were too flat. We felt the bed was a little too firm for our comfort. I woke up slightly uncomfortable from the firmness.
Breakfast was reasonable. We had waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, muffin, and juices for choices for all 3 mornings. It would have been nice to see other options like biscuit and gravy...etc. But overall we were pleased. The room was clean. Staff was very friendly. It was a quiet weekend so my husband was exceptionally pleased. :) We would definitely stay here again.

The property was very clean, the staff was very friendly. We were on the road and stayed here purely because of the 9.4 rating which stated “excellent”. This property was excellent. No extra noises, smelled clean, spotless room. Usually at a “on the road” hotel stay something is out of place or broken but I started looking in the room because I was so impressed. I found out from asking the staff that the hotel is a few years old but I never would have known it. It looked like it had just opened that day. Thank you for a great stay. The gentleman that checked us was professional. I want to mention that I met a couple, I believe to be the owners. As we were checking they were leaving from their work day. They were as polite as could be and I believe they are working some very long days due to Covid relief funds making it to where other people would rather sit home than go to work. The American Dream is what I saw in this couple. I’ll stay here as often as we pass through.

Because the hotel was great about following Covid protocols, the breakfast was not at full capacity. They did offer cellophane wrapped muffins, yogurt, wrapped breakfast sandwiches, coffee and juices. That was ok for me, but if you need more there are several restaurants nearby. (Cracker Barrel, Waffle House)
Very fresh and clean. The hotel is smoke free. Covid protocols were followed.
